Climate Makers was recommended to me by a friend. Our technician is Tim and we are 100% satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They fixed the mistakes of the last company that we had. You can’t go wrong with Climate Makers.

David showed up when expected. We were very satisfied with his work and the effort that he made to make sure we were left with heat! He went the extra mile to get us warm again. All while making the extra effort to keep the floor clean. I will use them again.

I was out of heat at 4pm and called Climate Makers. 2 friends recommended them. Evan was here by 6:30pm and temporarily fixed the fixed the problem. Climate Makers altered their schedule to fit my work schedule so Evan could be here by 8am the next morning to fix the problem. Evan did an excellent job. He is extremely professional and answered all my questions. He ensured all the parts were clean and working . Note the part had to be ordered. All the work was done in a timely manner and everyone at Climate Makers so accommodating. I have been with another company for many many years. The company changed hands and the company changed. After my experience with Climate Makers I plan to contract with them. Thank you Evan and all the staff for being so helpful and reliable.

Gary to the rescue! Turns out it may have been nothing more than a heating coil burning off a bit, but it's great for peace of mind that he came in and took a look anyway. He was polite, thorough, and abundantly cautious, leaving no stone unturned. I definitely appreciate him taking the time out of his day to make sure everything was all right.

We have been having an issue with a leak on our boiler and Garry came today and was extremely efficient and informative. He was in and out within an hour and explained everything he was doing to me. I would definitely recommend him and your company to my neighbors and other people I know. You definitely have a new customer going forward. Thank you guys so much for getting out to my house on the same day that I called.

Frequently Asked Questions About Climatemakers of VA

Does turning my thermostat up or down save money on my energy bills?

Yes! Resetting the thermostat when you are asleep or away from home can save money. By adjusting your thermostat four to six degrees up (in the summer) or down (in the winter) reduces the amount of run time for your heating and cooling system, leading to a reduction in energy costs. We recommend upgrading to a programmable thermostat to "set it and forget it" so you can control your energy usage on a daily and seasonal basis.

What is a SEER Rating, and why should I know about it?

SEER stands for "Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio" - it's rating measures how efficient an HVAC system is by calculating the cooling output for a typical cooling season divided by the total electric energy output during the same time frame. The higher SEER rating an HVAC unit has, the more energy efficient it is, which can be a compelling reason to purchase - however, the downside is that higher SEER ratings can often mean higher purchase prices. Be sure to speak with your Comfort Consultants for advice on the best system for your budget and home.
