Very professional installation of my home HVAC system. Randy and Wes did an outstanding job. They were very respectful and ensured everything was completed to the highest of standards. I would recommend Climatemakers to anyone needing a reliable company that provides outstanding service.

Excellent Service provided by Climate Makers (CM) and particularly Evan Svrcek who was our Tech today for our semi-annual clean and inspect. Previously we were using a competitor because we 'Thought' we were getting a better deal. I was so Wrong. Happy to be back with CM. I might add, we used CM perviously before switching to the other guy and now back again. Don't make my mistake, CM is the Better. Much Better.

The tech did a fine job. We were pleased. We weren't pleased with the office because we had to call to set up our bi annual maintenance. In 2025 we only received one of two services. When I called to question it the lady said they tried to call both of you but got no answers. I call bs but what really bites is that Climatemakers made no effort to prorate us for services not rendered. Robert Carlow

Evan Svrcek was our technician today, here to check the systems in our new home. (We had been Climatemakers customers in our last home for 18+ years.) He was extremely thorough and helpful with his suggestions to keep our system heating and cooling as efficiently as possible. Very impressed grateful with how thorough he was. Thank you.

Great service across the board. Anthony and Mello completed a professional full HVAC install / replacement with thermo and some duct re-installation. The initial inspection / sales was completed by one of the Co-Owners of the company, who was very knowledgeable and was willing to just sit down and talk to me like a person, or a neighbor. This company also primarily deals with Trane systems. A lot of companies tend to like to deal with their chosen/certified brand, and Trane is on top when it comes to HVAC. Climate Makers also offered me multiple different SEER rated units, and helped me understand the cost / efficiency ratios between them. HVAC replacement / installation is an expensive endeavor no matter what you do, prices in the last years have risen high. But I do not feel as though I would have gotten better service / experience elsewhere. They were nice, professional, and friendly(especially with my dogs who like to say hi).

Frequently Asked Questions About Climatemakers of VA

Does turning my thermostat up or down save money on my energy bills?

Yes! Resetting the thermostat when you are asleep or away from home can save money. By adjusting your thermostat four to six degrees up (in the summer) or down (in the winter) reduces the amount of run time for your heating and cooling system, leading to a reduction in energy costs. We recommend upgrading to a programmable thermostat to "set it and forget it" so you can control your energy usage on a daily and seasonal basis.

What is a SEER Rating, and why should I know about it?

SEER stands for "Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio" - it's rating measures how efficient an HVAC system is by calculating the cooling output for a typical cooling season divided by the total electric energy output during the same time frame. The higher SEER rating an HVAC unit has, the more energy efficient it is, which can be a compelling reason to purchase - however, the downside is that higher SEER ratings can often mean higher purchase prices. Be sure to speak with your Comfort Consultants for advice on the best system for your budget and home.
