  Bought blinds for my bedroom and living room. Great consultation -- the expert went through our options and what fits our needs. Less expensive than the other options we went through in other stores. The installation went well. The blinds work perfectly. Recommended.

  From the initial call thru the sales visit, measurements, and installation the proceed was seamless. Personnel were professional; communicating effectively via email/phone and in person. This is a gem of a company that understands service and client engagement. Bravo .

  I had an excellent experience with budget blinds. Customer service was extremely attentive and caring. Blind consultation was honest and practical. Install also was excellent - safe, fast and flexible working around a busy house! I am happy to highly recommend!

  Although the rating says 5, I actually mean 1 star. I want to give my honest review but I don't want another angry call from Diane (main point of contact for budget blinds) for giving less than 5 stars. (I had to remove my first one-star review from earlier today because of what unfolded... read below to find out why). For context, I originally scheduled a consultation for today. Due to an incorrect email that stated that my consultation was scheduled for oct 27th at 5 pm (see attached image), I was under the impression that a consultant would arrive by 5 pm. However, even at 5:20, the consultant never arrived. So I called Budget Blinds two times at 5:09 and 5:13 to see if someone was on the way. Someone on the phone apologized to me and said that the consultant would reach out to me with a status call. I waited and no one called me so at 5:21 I called back and said I would like to cancel the consultation. After this interaction, I wrote a one-star review regarding this experience. At around 5:40, the consultant showed up and said he was supposed to show up between 5-6PM. When my husband showed him the confirmation email that showed 5 PM, he shrugged and asked my husband if we still wanted the consultation. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to get to somewhere by 6:30 so we declined. What followed is why I'm writing this review. At 5:51 PM, Diane called me and exclaimed "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?," "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!," "THIS IS SHOCKING!" in regards to the one-star review. As I tried to explain why I gave a one star review, Diane would constantly talk over me and talk about how she had confirmed with me that a consultant would come sometime from 5 and 6 PM. I tried to explain that I thought when she said that on the phone, she meant that the consultant would be here from 5 to 6 PM (like an hour long appointment that starts at 5 and ends at 6). She claimed that she specifically said that the "arrival window is from 5 to 6 pm." At the end of the day, I told her that I would remove the first one star review that talks about the lateness because, although we cannot prove it, I could've misheard and misunderstood. However this review is in regards to how Diane conducted herself over the phone. I have NEVER EVER in my life been spoken to like that before. Even my closest friends and family members have NEVER reprimanded me like that. I wish I could show proof of this call because I want Diane to hear it. After I apologized for misunderstanding, I told her she could've approached this completely differently and that we could've still ended things on a good note. I felt that she was very aggressive and heated. Then, she explained that her tone is because she's "passionate" about her work and she thought what she did "took guts to stand up to the customer." Well, she was definitely passionate... but also very unprofessional. I think she was very upset because 1. she thought she had communicated very clearly that the consultant was "arriving" between 5-6pm and 2. she had never received a negative review before (because she mentioned multiple times how she's never received a one star review before). I told her that we don't have a close relationship where she can just go off like that on me. Then she proceeded to defend herself and mention that we had a few half-hour conversations and that she considered us acquaintances... IT DOESN'T MATTER, DIANE. Regardless of who and why, you should never speak to anyone like that! Also, when talking with customers, don't refer to them as "honey." Ok, honey?
