  Southern Trace Builders built an addition to our home. They handled the design and construction of the whole project. The addition looks amazing and they were very professional to work with.

  A mistake to contract with them. Once they get paid you’re on the back burner. Many days of no shows and extras for “emergency repairs”. I’m 70k in on a kitchen that they were supposed to complete a month ago and still dragging feet to finish. Once they sell you, they pass you to third parties, then stop communicating. Poor communication and sloppy execution.

  On the recommendation of two of my neighbors, I used Southern Trace for putting in a basement bathroom, and finishing off the rest of the basement space. They also added a butlers pantry in my kitchen. Southern Trace is my favorite contractor! They were organized from the planning stage all the way to completion. They showed up when they said they would, the work was excellent, high quality. (thank you Jose). One thing that stood out for me is that Jose communicated with me throughout the project by sharing what he was doing and asking for feedback along the way. Jose and his son took pride in their work, which was neatly and precisely done. No doubt, Jose is a true a master carpenter. Without question I would/will use Southern Trace again. The whole process was enjoyable and stress free. I can confirm they do exactly what they describe on their website Building Process page.
