  As a first time customer, I was very impressed with Tyler and the service he provided. I received a text and call ahead of his arrival. I had asked when I made the appt about Vernon's service agreement options, and Tyler went over both. He serviced my HVAC and explained everything afterwards. A very positive experience. And, yes, I purchased a service agreement :)

  Dom and Owen worked on my unit most of the day today! Such professionals! Easy to understand pricing! Overall so glad I called. Highly recommend! If you need help now that the weather is changing…. Call! My dog Sarah even enjoyed their company.

  I had them come out to check heating ducts that were disconnected. He explained to me that one was cut off and removed. ( Another contractor fid that .). He explained that he duct taped it. He said it would last. Sounded suspicious to me. After googling it it says not to use duct tape and there are caps available. I will be switching HVAC companies this week. Since this is not acceptable.

  After having received a bleak report from the annual spring service by our (now former) HVAC company of 8 years (who installed our system only 8 years ago!) citing major concerns about our system that would require significant work or full system replacement ASAP. So, we sought out a second opinion. Through neighborhood facebook we found Matt D. with Vernon The Heating & Cooling Specialist of Sterling. His tech, Bryce H. came out to take a look and walk us through how the claims of the other company did NOT jive with the superlative manner in which our system is currently performing. Bryce spoke to us and addressed our questions and concerns truthfully and openly without pressing us with a sales pitch as opposed to the other tech who provided vague answers with little information other than urging us to repair or replace our system ASAP. We owned and operated a chimney cleaning and repair service for over 30 years and know how to recognize truth from bull crap. The folks from Vernon are legit and are now our new service company, as we joined their annual maintenance plan. Rudy E. Springfield, VA

  Had them come to my rental property between tenants for a tune up. Technician showed up and suggested we replace both systems due to age, not based on function. Had another company come out and inspect who said while the system is old- it is in great shape and that there is no need to replace anything. Parts will be the same and everything is good to go. I basically paid the tech to look at a sticker and try to get me to set up for a sales person to come out. Felt targeted as a woman and landlord.
