  I was very pleased with the the professionalism and service from both Will and Josh in removing the old hot water heater and installing the new much more efficient hot water heater and removing the old kitchen disposal and replacing it with a new top of the line and more efficient one! They also had to do some work on a shower faucet and a couple of toilets in the house! They explained thoroughly everything they were needing to do which was most appreciated! They cleaned everything up after completing the tasks at hand and letting me know how much I owed for the work done so efficiently! Highly recommend Michael and son and again thank Will and Josh for their excellent service!

  Super nice guys. ( there were 2) Left a mess and still leaking. Repaired my washer hook up, but did not replicate the previous location of the pipes. When I asked his reasoning, he said it’s easier for him to get to. My washer NOW protrudes out into the room. He then replaced my faucet in my bathroom with a faucet that was not the correct size. Then he replaced my kitchen faucet with a completely different faucet and now I have a hole in my sink. Day 2, The same two technicians returned to replace bathroom sink with right size. Good news, they got it right this time. Bad news, washer hook up is still leaking and kitchen sink never got fixed. (Was charged $245 to repair leak at washer) why!!!! Third attempt to fix leak at washer….requested a different guy. Fingers crossed it gets fixed at this point. Bottom line, this will be the last time I use this company. The amount of time wasted and money is unbelievable.

  AJ did an outstanding job with our electrical issues. He walked us through a clear troubleshooting plan, outlined the potential fixes needed, and quickly identified the root cause — explaining it in a way that was easy to understand. He also provided both short-term and long-term solutions, which gave us a great sense of what to expect going forward. In addition, AJ helped with a full home electrical inspection and delivered a thorough, well-organized report detailing the current conditions and when various components would need attention or replacement. Overall, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. If you need electrical work done, I'd highly recommend requesting AJ at Michael and Son Services!

  The work was completed efficiently and done right the first time. They respected my home, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. It’s rare to find a company that combines great customer service with high-quality workmanship, but Michael & Son Services absolutely delivered.

  First the good: Everyone I spoke to while both setting the appointment and the technician, Conner were very professional and easy to talk to. I was impressed that they could come out so quickly. Back story: All I needed was a new garbage disposal in a rental house. I've replaced several and it's so easy to do properly even the first time. I just didn't want to drive all the way there. Now the bad: I was told there was a trip fee of $69 which they charge just for coming out. It's applied to the final bill if they do the work. Not great but I went with it figuring there is no way the total would be over $200. Conner called me with the price of $600+ to replace the Badger 1/2 HP unit with the same thing. That is $117.48 for the unit at Home Depot and ~$500 labor for removing two pipe connectors (remove two bolts and loosen a slip nut), then unplugging the unit before twisting it to bring down the old unit. Installing the new unit involves the reverse. It took me thirty minutes the very first time I did it and about fifteen minutes the last time I did it. I paid the trip fee and arranged for another plumber to do the work for unit cost plus $87 labor. Guess who I'll call in the future? Conclusion: Pleasant people that I would like to be able to do business with and I'm sure they do great work. However, there is no way I can afford their prices and it's insulting to me that they would try. I hate to leave negative reviews, so I'll conclude with "Great people if you don't mind their prices".
