  I needed to replace the receiver on a ceiling fan 17ft high. I had 2 other companies no show on me for this job. Ended up paying more than I wanted to, but Joel and Isaac did a great job and showed up when they were supposed to. They quickly diagnosed that the fan had burned out and offered to wait for me to go to home depot and purchase a new fan. I was back about 30 mins later and they did a great job and did it quickly. Neither of them checked the instructions, but having installed many fans myself I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing.

  Couldn’t be happier with the same day service provided by Michael and Sons, specifically the technician, Ghulam Mujtaba Amiri. I called to advise I didn’t have hot water, and within two hours he was there assisting me with the options. His installation was professional and high quality work. Highly recommend for water heater services and thank you again Ghulam!

  Josh was so professional, experienced and thorough explaining things to me in details and giving me quotes right away. I would like to have him to fix things in my house if needed to. I highly recommend them.If I need more service from them I would ask for Joshua to come back again. he was quick and to the point and gave me a reasonable price. thank you. Scott the manager also helped me in the phone, he was very responsive and helped me with a quick appointment and made my journey very easy.

  We were told that the central board needed to be replaced and a part would need to be ordered. When we didn’t hear back on the part order in a timely manner (and our home was in the mid-50s without heat), I called another HVAC specialist. Not only was the part not needed, he pointed out that the Michael and Sons rep had left the gas off, which is the reason our home had become so cold. The other vendor turned the gas back on and tested the system. He found a minor issue that he was able to resolve immediately. He also pointed out that our humidifier wasn’t running and needed filter replacement—something we would have expected to have been pointed out by Michael and Sons, since we are member of the Gold Home Maintenance plan. We have since canceled the plan and appointments, as this is not our first experience like this

  We recieved an unacceptable and deeply disappointing service from Michael & Sons. We were charged $1,200 for the replacement of a control board (cost between $50-700) with the assurance that it would restore our heating system. Despite this excessive charge, our heating never came back on. What is most troubling is not only the failure to fix the problem, but the complete lack of responsibility taken afterward. After accepting full payment, the company offered to change the system for $21000 and when we refused, they effectively walked away from the situation, leaving us without heat and without a resolution. This behavior is not only unprofessional it is inhumane, especially considering that it is freezing outside. Charging customers large sums of money for a service that does not work, and then refusing to take accountability, reflects a serious disregard for consumer well-being. We trusted this company for weeks to act responsibly and competently. Instead, we were left stressed, cold, and forced to seek alternative solutions at additional cost. Shocking...
