We had a leak and my husband couldn’t fix it so I enlisted Classic Plumbing after my neighbor recommended them. We were told it could take 3-4 hours with Yeah an estimate cost of $811.00. Ok that caught me by surprise, but we have not needed plumbing work done in Nearly 20 years. And if it’s gonna take 3 to 4 hours, I could see it running that much even though I did not think that severity of our kitchen needs would take 3 to 4 hours. It did not !! It took about an hour and a half (but we’ll just say two hours.) Shouldn’t the cost have been less since it took much less time to complete ? There would not have been an additional one to two hours of labor costs so the bill should have been considerably less . NOPE STILL $811.00 What is the hourly rate ? $600.00 They were polite and clean, but that’s the only good thing I can say. And when I find out other people have been scammed by these people I could kick myself for not reading these reviews that are disturbing. If I had been able to been able to confront the 2 plummers ( why did we need 2 plummers) when they were finished and wanted $811.00 they would not have.I might have written a check for $300.00 telling them that’s all you are getting. AND….. we found out the next day THEY BROKE OUR GARBAGE DISPOSAL. If Classic Plumbing reads this … you need to provide me with a brand new disposal. Please leave it on our porch with a bow on top of the sealed box it’s in.
