  The repairman came Even though I told them when I was making the appointment that it was a clothes washer that was leaking water repairman walked in looked at my washer, so didn’t said they didn’t work on washers andnever checked the hoses to my washer. charged me the fee.   It was a pleasure working with Ryan Van Horn while here during a plumbing issue. He was hard working, professional and focused on the problem at hand. He answered the many important questions that I had with patience and knowledge while giving 110% to achieving a positive outcome. He also gave tips on averting any future emergency situations if needed. Ryan represented Michael's as an experianced and respected professional. Thank you Ryan!

  I scheduled a service appointment online to address several issues, including duct cleaning. The service person who arrived was new, not knowledgeable, and in the process of “checking” my outdoor AC unit removed a part that connected the power - rendering the system useless on a week with highs in the 90s. I called Michael & Sons to ask them to send someone else to restore my system to its original state. They said they could send someone in 4 days . . . And that there would be an additional $89 charge for the service call. I explained that their service work was the CAUSE of my system failure and that it would be inoperable for 4 days in the 90s while I waited to pay them to restore my system to its original condition. I called another HVAC service team. They sent someone within 4 hours. He found the missing part, replaced it, and addressed the mess that Michael & Sons had created. I won’t be calling Michael & Sons again.

  I had a fantastic experience with Jason Hall from Michael & Sons! He recently completed electrical work at my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Jason was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood the work being done, which I really appreciated. On top of that, he brought a great attitude, friendly, fun, and genuinely caring about doing the job right. It’s not often you come across someone who is not only skilled but also so personable and understanding. Jason made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend him and the team at Michael & Sons to anyone needing electrical work! Thank you again, Jason!

  They came out very respectful put leased system in. Within the first year it started leaking in the inside unit down into the ductwork, dropping one of the ducts. Told me it was my fault because my underpinning wasn’t up. Hasn’t happened in the years prior but I fixed the ductwork myself ( they wanted me to pay them to do it as well as other work) it’s been several years now and it still hasn’t happened again which means it was them and not me. When trying to speak with a supervisor in the Charlottesville office he screamed at me like a wild banshee the entire time I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. When the come to do the service most of the workers are respectful however they always forget to bring the filters her lately. They came two months ago forgot filters again the worker said she tapped the dust off because she didn’t have a vacuum to vacuum it but would get some sent out. I then received a document where she stated she had vacuumed the system itself but didn’t have a vacuum. I called and advised them of this and sent a picture of all the dust on the inside of the unit where I had taken the filter out to vacuum myself and saw it and took a picture. Also advised I was still waiting on filters. They sent someone without filters who did nothing and stated they didn’t tell him about filters they would reschedule. Rescheduled and received a call that they didn’t have filters yet would need to reschedule. Received text to schedule service as part of the contract, obviously they had no idea what had been going on and I explained it to them and advised if the void please make sure the bring filters as it’s been 2 months and they still haven’t brought them. But they always seem to take their payment out of my bank account on time. Very poor service from the beginning.
