  This company responded to my non-emergency call for a plumber to install a new water heater and remove the old one on the very day I made the call! Wesley, the technician/plumber, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! He shared information with me so I would understand the process of install and removal ... and about how to work the new water heater. Because my water heater is on the second floor of my house, he took extra care in moving items up and down the stairs so that no damage occurred to walls or flooring. Wesley also performed a courtesy water quality test before leaving. I felt the cost of the service was very reasonable compared to other companies in the area. I couldn't be happier with the service I received! I'll definitely call this company should problems arise in the future.

  I had a great experience with Just Better Home services. After I had called multiple different companies with either no answer or not being available for over a month, Just Better was able to have a tech come out and solve my electrical issues the very next morning. Very clear communication and professional customer service.

  Outstanding service! Tyler arrived on time, discussed the issue, and gave me options. It was apparent to me that this company values customer interaction, particularly when there are clear choices. I elected to purchase a new tankless water heater to replace my contractor grade, smaller unit. Tyler completed the job, cleaned up, tested our water, discussed ongoing maintenance, and left us satisfied that we hired the correct contractor!

  Would not recommend this company! They are unprofessional and ripped me off. I had a leak in a water main that was a non-stop flow of water into my utility closet and family room. It was a Sunday and we were so appreciative that they could come out. I was charged $169 for them to come out and $189 to diagnose where the leak was coming from, which I was okay with because there was literally water continuously leaking and it was a Sunday. The plumber spent a few minutes and removed some drywall because he thought the leak was in the wall. He said he couldn’t find it and would need to meet with his team to figure out a game plan for the next morning. The next morning I didn’t hear from anyone so I called and the operator told me that a technician would call me back. I waited for an hour and didn’t hear anything so I tried to call back and each time I called it would ring and then hang up or it would say the call couldn’t be completed. Given that the leak was still ongoing I had to find someone else urgently to help. I didn’t hear back from the people at this company until three days later when they sent me a work proposal via email for how much it would cost to do the job. I was disappointed that they had taken the initial money and left me in crisis. I understand that it was going to be a challenging job because the leak was in the wall but to leave a customer hanging who was in ongoing crisis is just unprofessional. I would have respected it more if they would have called and been upfront with the fact that they were not able to do the job when I needed them. Instead I didn’t hear anything which delayed the whole process of getting things fixed and resulted in more time off from work. I would recommend in the future to at least call the customer and let them know that you’re not able to do the job or if you are be honest that it would take days to even get a work proposal drafted so that the customer can make decisions quicker to reduce damage to their homes. Also, the work proposal they sent days after was a much higher price than what I ended up paying. If you need a plumber in the Harrisonburg area I’d recommend Friendly city plumbing. They came out and immediately helped us and communicated with us about everything that was going to need to happen.

  We had an electrical problem with two ceiling fans in our living room. They were old and needed replacing. Michael showed up, and despite some frustration (because our house is old), he was able to replace both fans! We felt bad because he was dealing with old wiring, etc., but he was great! He worked through the issues and was always professional! We appreciate his hard work, and we definitely will call again when we need other work done!
