  I've been a homeowner (lots of homes, actually) for over 40 years, and I've had lots of experiences with service technicians and contractors. I can't think of any other experience better than the one I've had this week with Ostrom. First, unlike other companies that offer emergency service, Ostrom really does, and we needed it for an electrical safety hazard that could have ended terribly. Second, the communications and scheduling were articulate and efficient. Third, the three technicians (D, R, and M) that helped us over the course of two required visits, were, now get this people, (i) on time, (ii) friendly, (iii) extremely competent, and (iv) professional (well-dressed, well-groomed, well-spoken, and considerate). We have only been in this community and in this home for two years. Happy to say we've found our go-to partner.

  We had Chris come out to look at a Furnace issue we had. Chris was professional and thorough with his work and explained in detail what he was doing and why. We have used this company in the past and I can’t imagine calling anyone else for our heating/air/plumbing needs. The level of communication is unmatched and the quality and thoroughness of their work is second to none. Thanks to Chris and the rest of their staff, they now have a customer for life. Highly, highly recommend calling them before anyone else!

  I had the pleasure of working with Seth C. from Ostrom Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He replaced my old water heater with a new tankless system, and the entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Seth was punctual, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable—he took the time to explain everything and made sure the installation was done perfectly. The quality of his work speaks for itself, and I’m thrilled with the results. Highly recommend Seth and the Ostrom team for anyone needing plumbing services done right!

  I have been a customer of Ostrom Plumbing Electrical Heating and Air for several years. I joined its Sure Home Advantage program which gives me peace of mind in caring for my nearly 70 year old home. The entire staff, both in the office and on the road, offer one of the best customer services in the Roanoke Area. Today Zach visited my home to diagnose a drainage problem and his expertise was greatly appreciated. He also suggested some products that might come in handy and referred me to some other businesses for my appliance needs. I highly recommend him and all the great staff of this business.

  I can’t recommend this company enough! Andi and Alexander were absolutely amazing. They came out to inspect my mother’s fuse panel and uncovered several serious issues we would never have known about. Most notably, they discovered a second fuse panel hidden in the crawl space—dangerously mounted in front of a gas line and water pipe. It was a major fire hazard waiting to happen. Andi took the time to thoroughly explain the situation and even showed us video footage of the problem. The very next day, both Andi and Alexander returned and spent hours rebuilding a safer, more stable mount and installing a new fuse box. They relocated it away from the gas and water lines and replaced the outdated glass fuses with a modern, safer system. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to safety were outstanding. They clearly explained the process and pricing before starting the work, ensuring we understood everything. Both were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Thanks to them, a major hazard was identified and resolved. I’m truly grateful for their hard work and highly recommend this company—especially Andi and Alexander!
