  We recently had Woodfin come out to fix/replace the copper pipe running from our dishwasher under our sink that was leaking. Our technician, Joseph Wood, did an excellent job from start to finish, explaining everything, checking and rechecking to make sure the job was done correctly, etc. He even gave our happy little dog a Woodfin toy, which she loved! Thanks as always, for the excellent service, Woodfin!

  Woodfin was the only company that I could find that would do the entire job of putting in a propane tank running lines and hooking up my fireplace and a future hookup for a tankless hot water heater. The salesman that came out was very knowledgeable and was right on time. The techs that came out a week later were also right on time if not a little early and were very nice and knowledgeable as well. The job was completed timely and done with the utmost effort to leave things better than when they found them.

  Had to upgrade my hvac system because the old one was out of date which meant updating the panel. Woodfin quoted me 3 amounts for different system options and was able to get permits pulled and our work on their schedule quickly which was much appreciated. They replaced 2 heat pumps and air handlers which were on a 2nd story roof; they also upgraded my electrical panel. However, now that it’s done I’ve had to call them back to fix things they did wrong multiple times. Their electrical team destroyed my front yard landscaping, dug up the yard without warning me that this was necessary to do. They also opened up a ceiling in order to place an air handler inside, but they installed it in such a position that I cannot change the air filter which is insane. I also need to call them back to fix things that violate code which makes me feel their company pays off city inspectors to look the other way on things. Had to call them multiple times to get someone to come fix the walls they ripped open. They did NOT check the vent system to make sure everything was air tight, I have huge bills that can only mean I’m loosing efficiency somewhere. They installed the service disconnects for the hvac system in an area that is not accessible…all around cannot recommend hiring them unless you are super savvy (or have an hvac savvy friend or know an inspector who can help fight for you) and can be present for everything. If I had to do it over again, I would not have taken out a loan to get shoddy work done.

  My 24 year old water heater had warmed its last gallon of water. I was delighted to find out that Woodfin carried and installed propane water heaters. Chris Parsonsmoore was the lead technician on my project. He was knowledgeable, very efficient and neat. His work is impeccable. He made sure everything was working, water bled of air and even checked my stove to be sure it would light, since the gas line was shut off. He explained the operation and care for my new water heater, it even has vacation mode! This was a very positive experience, and I would recommend Woodfin to others.

  We hired Woodfin, at the recommendation of a friend, to install a whole-house generator and replace our aging circuit breaker panels. These were both large projects. Woodfin had all the resources to perform all aspects of these jobs, including electrical, plumbing (propane-powered generator), arranging permits, even clean up and yard restoration post install. They arranged everything. All the people on the projects we worked with were professional, confident, courteous and personable. They explained things clearly and took the time to orient us to what we needed to know about our new systems. They patiently answered all our questions. They completed the projects right on time, despite having to work in some nasty weather (cold, snowy, icy). Everything works just as designed. We briefly lost utility power after the installation. The generator immediately kicked in and we were on generator power within 30 seconds with all home power restored as if nothing happened. We couldn’t be happier with the projects and with Woodfin. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering such projects. Great experience.
