  Goodness!! I just typed a really lengthy review…all to have it disappear!! 😠 James River Air…! Starting with Dan who did not pressure me to buy…He just talked and talked (which made me trust Him and the product…no quick sell)! He also did everything possible to get me the best price on my unit. I had an old Trane model (over 30 years), AND it turned out that I had to also get a new furnace!!! Can’t think of the 1st service guy to arrive on the scene but I got back to back texts (with pics) of nearly everyone who landed foot on my property. “James” returned the very next day to resolve a minor issue…He was very attentive and explain EVERYTHING relating to my thermostat, and set up other features (I likely wouldn’t have - because I’m not a “techy” 😆), yet today I feel more confident!! EVERYONE, the ladies on the phone…follow-up calls, etc. represented JRA well!! P.S. (Not to gossip), BUT - Last year, a competitor tried to get me to purchase one of their units that I would never own 🤦🏾‍♀️ SMH …I made the decision to suffer one summer. I’m glad I did!! My overall rating for this company is A+ (considering: customer care, tech expertise/collaboration on getting the job done / follow up, and price negotiations)!! God Bless!!

  Qadir was fantastic! He arrived with a quickness too! He was fast, friendly, efficient, and diagnosed the issue promptly. We’re hooked. We signed up for the yearly protection plan because we feel much better knowing we can call James River and they’ll send someone to help the same day! Can’t beat that! Also, the lovely lady with the southern accent on the phone who helped get us on the schedule was absolutely delightful. She was very helpful and reassuring. Thank y’all so much. You’re modern day heroes! I’m definitely a fan of this company. Indubitably 5 stars!!

  James River came to our house to do an estimate for our AC not working. The James River technician was the best. He was very thorough, explained the parts needed , showed me what was wrong with the parts, and didn't try to sell me a lot of extra stuff that we didn't need. Also, James River came out on the day I called (Friday) and they came quickly. Other companies I've had overcharged, claimed we needed parts when we didn't need them, and wouldn't show when they said they would. I'm sticking with James River for my future needs. Oh yeah, there estimates are better than other companies.

  I initially had a new heat pump unit installed a couple of weeks ago. I thought I could use the programmable thermostat I had installed some time back. Come to find out it was only for a single stage unit and not compatible with the new unit which was two stage. I wound up having to have a technician come back out and install a compatible thermostat. That said, the service I received from the initial call for service on the old unit and throughout the entire process of installing the new one and the correct thermostat was great!! From Jason the residential sales supervisor and ALL of the installers and techs, everyone we dealt with were friendly and professional.

  Ryan & James River Air have earned my business for all my HVAC needs! I called this morning with an issue regarding my heat pump and JRA was able to get me scheduled this afternoon. They kept me updated as to who was assigned to my case and when to expect him. They even notified me when he arrived on site. Ryan showed up ahead of schedule, introduced himself, listened to my concerns, conducted his initial assessment, and kept me informed of all his troubleshooting efforts. He was friendly, professional, and respected my house as if it were his own. The issue wasn’t anything to be concerned about and didn’t require any repairs for my first impression of JRA and Ryan sold me on making them my go-to for all my HvAC needs going forward.
