Recently, while washing the windows one of our windows got stuck and we couldn’t get it closed. I called and requested emergency service as it was supposed to rain the following day. No one showed up or called and because we were going out of town & needed to have the window closed, we had to hire our handyman to come help with the window. Then we couldn’t get the screen back in. I called 3 more times to no avail. Someone was sent out after numerous calls to fix the screen and he had to take the window out to get the screen back in! I finally called the headquarters in NC to explain the predicament and finally got a return call, however I wasn’t available & Tiffany left a VM to return a call to her. I have called no less than 8 times trying to reach her. Today, when I called to ask to speak with her, I was again told she was unavailable. I asked to be put on hold until she was available. I was then told they were just an answering service and they couldn’t transfer. So she is either not receiving the messages or simply ignoring them. In any case this is nothing less than poor customer service. Like I said, the windows are great but between the trash/metal they left everywhere in our yard after the installation of the windows and this recent fiasco, I would not recommend this (Richmond, Va) Window World to anyone….pay the extra $ and go to a company which backs their product/service and has good customer service!
