  Had new hvac put in by them exactly 1yr ago. He has been out to serve the unit 11 times in the past year to try to get it working correctly. Last time the AC disconnected blue while they were working on it. Service guy said it would be $700 to fix it. I told him absolutely not. If you get a man on the phone he couldn’t get a manager so the guy just left us but no heat the next day. We finally got a hold of a manager and the guy was like tough luck. There’s no way we did that sorry. The picture is four days after they installed original unit entire ductwork wasn’t put on correctly

  I've never worked with a more dysfunctional organization. We've been without heat and hot water for 2.5 weeks because Michael and Sons is inept at communicating between their own divisions. They also charge more than double what a smaller organization can accomplish in much less time. My wife and I have both missed 3 and 4 days of work because they can't schedule appropriately and there isn't a person who knows what needs to happen when.

  I called from New Jersey for my daughter in Richmond VA. The woman that answered the phone was very helpful and got a technician out to my daughters house within a couple hours. Patrick was the technician that dispatched to my daughters home. He was on time and very friendly. Explained what had to be done and how much it would cost before starting the work. The shower faucet was leaking and the cartridge for the diverter needed to be replaced. I already new what the problem was since I work for a plumbing company in New Jersey. I appreciated that he told me the truth and did the job that he came to do. Thanks Patrick!

  I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. They came out to clear a toilet clog in September, and the exact same issue returned two months later. Nothing in the home changed, and the fixture was used normally. When they returned, they couldn’t give any explanation for why their original work failed. Instead, they proposed doing the exact same procedure again and tried to charge for it a second time. Their only “solution” was offering one hundred dollars off to repeat the same service that already didn’t work. No investigation into the cause, no accountability, no real troubleshooting. Just an upsell for the same ineffective fix. A company this large should stand behind their work. Instead, they left us with a recurring problem and expected us to pay twice for the same job. Save your money and go with a plumber who actually solves the issue rather than repeating the fastest option and calling it a day.

  Predatory towards the elderly!!!! BEWARE!!! My mother-in-law called me panicked. Michael and sons had sent someone over to check her leaking washer connections. The cold water side had a very slow drip which went right down the drain. The technician said he would try and “fix it” first. He “tightened” the hot water connection which didn’t have any leak then accidentally broke it. The technician then told her the whole house was going to flood and she needed an emergency repair for $999 and he would need to cut open the wall and gut it all! Then he made my mother in law sign away liability for it. My blind and wheelchair bound father couldn’t see that there wasn’t a leak. After she sent me pictures i had to tell her to get him out of the house because i could see that it was not leaking more than a trickle. I went to Home Depot…paid $18…and fixed the connections including that the one the technician broke in less than 15 mins. It’s sad that this company targeted and preyed upon someone who is blind, disabled, and trusts someone to do the right thing. Pictures are proof of how easy it was to fix that even I could do it…can’t believe someone would ever be so evil
