The crew showed up in force and worked tirelessly to complete the job in one day. They prepped and painted 11 windows, front porch, and replaced rotted soffit. Attention to detail was outstanding. Johnnie completed a walk through after the job and even did a couple of things not written in the contract. I used their services because I saw a big project they did next door to me over a several week period. Will definitely recommend them and use them again when needed.

Johnny and his crew did interior and exterior carpentry, repairs and painting on one of our rentals and were fast and efficient. They were respectful of the tenants and neighbors.
And, Johnny communicated regularly with me throughout the process. Which I highly appreciate.

Our project manager Justin Pittman was awesome. As with any project there are going to be issues. We had several, but Justin listened and always said "we will take care of it", and he always did. I am a big believer in that the measure of a company and manager is how you step up and make it right by the client, and he always did. I will use them again if needed.

I am beyond disappointed to write this review. As a customer for many years, this business has gone downhill. I received one of the most lazy and disheartening paint jobs in history. They not only left all the switch plates off the walls, but also painted over receptacles, missed areas and exited with paint trails all through the home including my back deck. If you are reading this, please… choose anyone else for your job and save yourself the headaches that will come.
We determine start dates based on project scope, our current workload, and weather conditions. After receiving your deposit and material selections, we'll provide an estimated start date and keep you informed of any changes. Our aim is to begin your project promptly while maintaining our high standards of quality.
Do you use subcontractors?
Yes, we collaborate with both trusted subcontractors and our own employees. All individuals working on your project are exclusive to Jacob's Ladder, ensuring consistent quality and reliability. We thoroughly vet and train each person to meet our professional standards.
What is the difference between a manufacturer's warranty and a company/labor warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty covers defects in the materials themselves, such as siding or roofing shingles. This warranty varies by product and brand. Our company/labor warranty, on the other hand, covers our workmanship, ensuring proper installation. If any issues arise due to installation errors within the warranty period, we'll make the necessary repairs at no cost to you.
I would like to move forward with my project. Do you have financing options?
We do offer financing options through our trusted partners to help make your project more affordable. During your consultation, we'll be happy to guide you through the financing application process and discuss the available terms.
How often should I have my house power washed?
We recommend power washing your home at least annually to remove accumulated dirt, mold, and mildew. If your property is surrounded by trees or exposed to harsh weather conditions, you might benefit from power washing every 6-9 months.
When is it too cold to perform your services?
While we operate year-round, extreme cold can impact certain materials and installation processes. For instance, roofing and painting are best performed when temperatures are above 40F to ensure proper adhesion and curing. In severe weather conditions, we may suggest rescheduling to maintain the highest quality results.
Do you have high pressure salespeople?
We don't employ high-pressure sales tactics. Our team consists of friendly professionals who enjoy discussing home projects and helping you find the right solutions. Even if we're not the best fit for your needs, we're always happy to answer your questions.
How can I tell which business to work with for my home project?
Choosing the right home improvement company can be challenging. We recommend meeting with at least three companies and paying attention to their approach. Consider whether they use high-pressure sales techniques or offer a variety of product options. Review their Google ratings, Better Business Bureau listing, and ask to speak with recent customers. At Jacob's Ladder, we employ consultants who provide real choices and educate you throughout the process.
What CC do you accept?
We accept Visa and MasterCard, with a small processing fee to offset associated costs. Currently, we don't accept American Express or Discover. We also offer financing options through third-party lenders for your convenience.
What is your minimum project rate?
Our minimum project rate varies by season and scope of work. We require at least a full day's work for our crew to ensure we can allocate proper resources and deliver high-quality results. For a precise quote, please contact us for a brief consultation to determine if your project meets our minimum requirements.
