While they could have taken advantage of the situation and charged more, they gave me the option to sign up for an annual maintenance contract, which cost less than the repairs, and then treated the evaluation and repair as covered costs of the maintenance contract. In my experience that level of customer care is not easy to find. Highly recommend!
