Matt was very competent and capable. He got the system working temporarily while getting the OEM parts next day. I ended up taking advantage of a discount to have full maintenance, coverage and still paid less.. I would recommend.

Honestly fantastic. They have prioritized coming out when I've had some weird recurring issues that required multiple visits, and they've helped me out on pricing more than once.
I had a leak in a part they replaced over a year and a half later (it happens) and they took responsibility and are fully covering the repair.
Frequently Asked Questions About Air Specialty Heating & Air Conditioning
How often should I change my air filters?
As a general guideline, we recommend changing air filters monthly. However, the frequency may vary depending on your location and the presence of contaminants such as dirt and pet dander. It's advisable to inspect your filter regularly and replace it when it appears dirty.
How often should I have my unit serviced?
Maintain your HVAC warranty by scheduling professional maintenance at least annually, ideally twice a year. This ensures your system is properly inspected, cleaned, and serviced in both heating and cooling modes, meeting manufacturer standards for warranty coverage.
Can I fix my broken air conditioner myself?
We advise against attempting to repair a broken air conditioner yourself unless you have professional HVAC expertise and the proper testing equipment. Doing so could put you or your system at risk. Our skilled technicians can safely diagnose and repair the issue for you.
How big should my heating and cooling unit be?
Determining the appropriate size for your heating and cooling unit involves considering multiple factors, including your home's structure, insulation, and attic space. An oversized system may lead to excessive humidity and potential mold issues, while an undersized one could result in constant operation and increased energy costs. Our qualified technicians can accurately assess your specific needs.
If I replace my outdoor unit, do I also need to replace my indoor unit?
In most instances, we recommend replacing both the indoor and outdoor units simultaneously. This ensures optimal compatibility, efficiency, and performance. Additionally, replacing both units at once provides comprehensive warranty coverage for the entire system, potentially saving you money on future repairs.
Should I cover my unit in the fall and winter?
While covering your unit can prevent debris accumulation, it's important to remove the cover before operation. If you plan to turn off the unit during an extended absence, you may cover it after disconnecting the power source. For any operational issues, we recommend contacting our heating repair team for a complimentary estimate.
What makes an AC unit freeze up?
Several factors can cause an AC unit to freeze, including refrigerant leaks, dirty evaporator coils, and defective blower motors. These issues often require professional attention. Our skilled technicians are equipped to diagnose and address these problems effectively.
What is a zoning system?
A zoning system divides your ductwork into separate sections, allowing for individual temperature control in different areas of your home. This approach enhances energy efficiency and comfort by enabling targeted cooling or heating. Contact us for more information on implementing a zoning system in your home.
How can I improve my indoor air quality?
To enhance indoor air quality, we recommend regular dusting and vacuuming. Additionally, our technicians can install specialized equipment such as UV light units, high-efficiency air filters, and electronic air cleaners to further improve your home's air quality.
How do I find out if my unit is under warranty?
To determine if your unit is under warranty, locate the manufacture date on the equipment's label. Units less than five years old are typically covered. For specific warranty details, we suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. If you require assistance with your heating and air conditioning system, please don't hesitate to contact us.
How often should I change my air filters?
We recommend changing air filters monthly, but frequency may vary based on location and contaminants like dirt and pet dander. Inspect regularly and replace when dirty.
How often should I have my HVAC unit professionally serviced?
Schedule professional HVAC maintenance at least once a year, ideally twice, to maintain warranty and ensure proper inspection, cleaning, and servicing in heating and cooling modes.
Can I repair my broken air conditioner myself?
It is not recommended to fix a broken AC yourself unless you are a professional with the right equipment. Contact our skilled technicians for safe diagnosis and repairs.
How do I determine the right size for my heating and cooling unit?
The correct size depends on factors like home structure, insulation, and attic space. An oversized or undersized system can cause issues. Our technicians can assess your specific needs accurately.
Do I need to replace both indoor and outdoor HVAC units simultaneously?
Yes, replacing both units together ensures compatibility, efficiency, optimal performance, and comprehensive warranty coverage, saving you future repair costs.
Is it necessary to cover my HVAC unit during fall and winter?
Covering your unit can prevent debris accumulation if the unit is off for an extended period. Remove the cover before operating and contact us for maintenance or repair estimates if needed.
What causes an AC unit to freeze up?
Freezing can result from refrigerant leaks, dirty evaporator coils, or faulty blower motors. These issues require professional attention from our qualified technicians.
What is an HVAC zoning system and what are its benefits?
