Our old system was very old. Starnes installed a new heat pump and A/C unit for us this summer. We waited to review until we went through two seasons. This summer the A/C unit worked wonderfully. The whole family was cool and happy. Hubby was also happy that our electric bill went down a little. Now the temps have dropped. It is 29° outside and we are toasty warm inside. Starnes was very nice to deal with. We highly recommend them.

I didn’t have a good experience with Starnes. I got them on a bad day and things didn’t end well. My one set of equipment got damaged so I had to pay for their expensively charged Freon plus a new system. I had to wait a month for them to fix my other system under warranty. they’re a small company and not all staff are experienced/good or communicative. They will try to make it right afterwards. Very high prices for service charge, Freon and equipment systems. Was New to the area so didn’t know any better. But have since found other hvac options that are better and much more reasonable. So buyer beware. They are human and won’t get it right all the time.
