  We had this company spray foam insulation in our basement where moisture was a problem. Since that time we've had a dry and moisture free room. We are grateful for their work.

  Davenport & Valley Insulation installed gutters on our newly constructed home and also a garage door. The gutters and downspouts were not adequate in size to handle the square footage of the roof. One of the downspouts was placed on the corner of the house, diverting the water down the driveway, and posing a risk to create black ice during the colder nights. When we contacted Davenport to correct the situation, the designer (Cory) was belligerent, arguing that he wouldn't change a thing. We also contacted the main office and the corporate office without a return call. Shameful. Davenport & Valley Insulation = poor business practices and poor workmanship. We hired Gutter Pros of Charlottesville to remove the inadequate gutters and install new ones. Unlike Davenport, Gutter Pros were easy to work with and did a fabulous job.

  Davenport has been a horrendous company to work with. Purchased a house in August of last year and asked them to encapsulate the crawlspace as this is something they claimed they did. Not only did they not encapsulate it at all (you guys might want to google what that word actually means) they actually used some of the most cheap garbage materials they could. Insulation looks terrible, vapor barrier looks terrible, trash left all over yard and crawlspace, they even ripped an electrical line from the side of the house (it was a phone line we were gonna get rid of, thanks for making it impossible to find where it was mounted to!). And the work they did? They wrapped over random pieces of siding the previous homeowner had in the crawlspace that we didn’t even know about, tons of it as well. When I texted them to fix it, someone did in fact come out, cut open and remove it, only to leave a nice little patch spot from their screw up and leave it STILL in the crawlspace AND they didn’t even get all of it, I found more still wrapped under it a few weeks later. Even better, they left enough documentation and trash to order the same white poly sheets, cinder block mounts from HILTI, and they even left me an entire roll of the tape they use, thanks guys! Seriously, these guys are unprofessional at best and if you actually look at any other company worth their salt, you can find better , with pretty minimal effort as well, save your money and sanity and go with literally anywhere else.

  I had blown insulation added to my attic. They were in and out of my home in about 1 hour with very little mess left behind. Would recommend
