had a very bad experience at Belt Rentals. The old woman working in the office, I believe the cashier, had a terrible attitude and treated customers very poorly. She was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. As customers who are paying for a service, we should not be treated this way. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

I rented a 50 foot boomlift and opted for the tow behind instead of delivery to avoid paying more as this was a personal home repair to get the HOA OFF MY A.. ,LIKE I DONT HAVE ENOUGH CRAP GOING ON...LOL anyway REASON FOR REVIEW IS I CALLED AHEAD AND GOT NANCY ON THE PHONE to ask what kind of receiver and ball will I need on my truck(didn't want to show up and not have proper hitch).....she put JOSE on the phone and he told me I needed a Pintle hitch which I didn't have but Jose had 1 that I could use.......NEEDLESS TO SAY WHEN I GOT THERE I SAW A VERY BUSY OPERATION.....THESE PEOPLE WERE ALL MOVING(WORKING)....AND HANDLING THE VOLUME AS OTHER PEOPLE WALKED IN UP TO THE COUNTER......I NOTICED AN OLDER GENTLEMAN WITH GRAY HAIR GET UP AS HE WAS SITTING AT A DESK BEHIND THE COUNTER AFTER HANGING UP PHONE TO HELP NANCY AND JOSE AT THE COUNTER ADDRESS THE WAVE OF CUSTOMERS SHOWING UP........VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE...JOSE EVEN WALKED OUT TO ASSIST TAMOS WITH HOOKUP,CHECK LIGHTS AND SHOW ME SAFETY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS......IM IMPRESSED WITH THE HARDWORK,PROFESSIONALISM AND TEAMWORK THESE PEOPLE PORTRAYED WHICH MADE MY RENTAL AS SMOOTH AS PEANUT BUTTER....THANK YOU SUNBELT TEAM OF SPRINGFIELD....I WILL RECOMMEND AND USE YOUR RENTAL AGAIN WHENEVER I NEED A RENTAL! Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
