Of-course all this is happening on the hottest day of the year and they were slammed. Regardless, the owner gave me a call and had a tech at my house that night (after working hours) - fixed the AC and didn't charge me. A+ customer service.

And make sure you don’t turn down any recommended overpriced services or they’ll charge you more than the $89 service check they quote you on the phone. Apparently 89 is just to get them to your door.
