  A very customer service oriented company with a great crew and results. Removed the old asphalt, regraded the driveway to allow proper drainage away from the house, and repaved. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

  I had them blacktop my driveway. It is so beutiful now. I dont think I am ever to drive a vehicle. This driveway is a work of art and I would recomend this contractor to anyone. Good quality work.

  I had the good fortune to receive a recommendation for BC Paving to repair and repave my heavily cracked (alligator cracking) and crumbling asphalt driveway. Mr. Cooper from BC Paving came out to provide a quote at the end of April 2021. I then did my due diligence and received an additional 5 quotes. I also did a good deal of research about asphalt driveways (this being my first experience with this type of driveway,) and learned that fatigue cracking, which is also known as alligator cracking, is one of the most common ways that asphalt pavement can deteriorate over time and is one of the more serious problems that an asphalt surface can develop. I learned that fatigue cracking is almost always caused by problems beneath the asphalt in the underlying layers and digging down to discover the underlying problems, then strengthening the asphalt's base, is the only long-term asphalt repair solution. Of the six quotes I received only two companies (BC Paving being one) advised that they would need to remove the heavily cracked areas to ensure that the supporting foundation was repaired. The other companies all said they would just pave over the cracked areas. Even when pressed on the issue, they all said they would lay down between 1.5 to 2 inches of asphalt and that it would "be fine." When Mr. Cooper from BC Paving came out he spent time showing and telling me how he would grade the driveway to ensure proper drainage; how he would create a seamless transition between the driveway and the sidewalk to prevent tripping; how he would remove the crumbling areas and ensure the base layer was sound; and how he would put down a layer of asphalt over the repaired base layer, and then do a final overlay of the whole driveway in 3 inches of asphalt. Mr. Cooper was extremely professional, didn't use a lot of confusing paving jargon like others had, said that he would use the thickest layer (3 inches) of asphalt while others topped out at 2 inches, and left me with a written proposal as well as materials regarding the care of asphalt. Of the six quotes I received only one other company provided me with a written quote. Additionally, BC Paving was the only company with a written warranty. Ultimately, the additional one inch of asphalt, the warranty, and the professional manner in which I was treated was why I chose BC Paving. On the day of our driveway installation in May 2021, the crew arrived on time and were ready to work. Mr. Cooper was on the job and worked with the crew the full day. They came fully prepared with all of the heavy machinery needed to cut, lay, and roll asphalt. I was so impressed by how hard the crew worked, how well they treated each other, and how kind they were to me and my husband. The whole team was friendly and professional. They are also incredibly skilled in their craft. The driveway is beautiful and well graded and is such an improvement over the priorly existing driveway. The quality of their craftsmanship is evident, and I believe it will be enduring. Additionally, Mr. Cooper provided detailed information on the proper care of the driveway and left my property, and the street in front of my property, clean and cared for. Mr. Cooper didn't just do his job; he went above and beyond. His professionalism and craftsmanship surpassed my every expectation. My husband and I thank you for our beautiful driveway!
