Powell Valley Electric Co-Op

Powell Valley Electric Cooperative is a consumer-owned utility that provides electric service to over 32,000 consumers in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. PVEC maintains more than 3,500 miles of line. Powell Valley is consumer owned and regulated Electric co-ops like Powell Valley are owned by the consumers, or members, we serve. Members elect board members to represent their interests and set policy and procedures for our co-op. Powell Valley is a not-for-profit utility We exist to serve our communities instead of shareholders. Powell Valley distributes and sells affordable energy and invests any excess revenue back into the electric system. Powell Valley works to improve the communities we serve Keeping the lights on. Recruiting new industry. Educating the leaders of tomorrow. We take seriously our responsibility to improve lives in our communities.
