- DVDan Vasquez3 days ago1.0For the past 4 years after installation we had a great experience with Kinetico AWS, but just like anything else, the actual test is when you have an emergency how responsive the installer/technician and the overall company to mitigate the problem. I sent an email to Paul after I found his email of warranty and he responded this morning 1/10/26 @9:40 to follow instructions to bypass the system to test if the entire water treatment has failed. The system failed and email him again requesting a courtesy call. I understand it's a weekend but emergency happens regardless of what day. I called the office and an answering service told me that $250 charge for emergency service call. $50. charge for manager's call. If the system has 10 years warranty, at least a courtesy response call should have been available. I provided my cell number to my email but i have not heard from any Kinetico techs as of 11:30 am 1/10/26. This is how you determine a company's responsiveness to an emergency if their installed system FAILED.

I could have been killed with my four kids were in the car. The driver (Jonathan) didn’t even stop. He didn’t turn around to check on us. He didn’t apologize. He just kept going. I later found him parked in our neighborhood. When I confronted him, he took zero accountability and immediately tried to blame me, claiming there was a dog in the road, as if that excuses driving into oncoming traffic... FYI here was no dog. He then told me to stop “yelling” and spoke to me in a condescending, dismissive way, like because I’m a woman, I must be hysterical or wrong. No remorse. No concern that he almost hit a family with 4 kids in the car. When I tried to report the incident to his company, I was told he had already called them to report me. Their response was that they would “talk to him.” That’s it. His driving was reckless, his behavior was sexist, and both he and his company failed to take responsibility. His name was Jonathan and this is the company. For next time you decide to hire someone maybe stay clear of them.
