- ASAlea SteihrOct 12, 20211.0My comany completed a rather large project for Pleasnat Valley in 2020. We fullfilled all obligations under the signed contract which totalled aproximately $80,000. When all work was completed, the customer refused to pay the final balance, which totaled around $40,000. We contacted Pleasant Valley about this issue and were told that it was not their problem. As a general contractor, they are responsible for managing and paying any down chain sub-contractors or suppliers that were retained on a project. We still had to pay our workers for all of their labor on this project and have taken a large financial loss due to non-payment. Beware!
