  Had a fire in my townhouse this past August. I called Michael and Son's so they could check my water heater and to turn it back on. Aaron came out and checked out the water heater and turned it back on! And! I was ready with checkbook in hand but no, there was no charge. What a pleasant surprise 😮. Aaron was kind and professional. This is why I go to Michael and Son's. Their people and service are awesome.

  Tabitha Potter thoroughly assessed the problem step by step. Then, she provided tremendous advice in getting the problem resolved. Readily Identified an HVAC problem versus plumbing problem. Took the time to call it in to the service desk, and got an appointment set up right away. Everything was completed in a timely and accurate manner. That's what customer service is all about: taking care of, and educating the customer. Not charged referred to HVAC. Customer support 100%.

  Nick was great. Polite, friendly and able to provide details and a plan for fixing our issues with electrical. Nick was able to trouble shoot the issues at my house following the electrical strike a few weeks ago. Good thing to have Nick on the M&S team. Highly recommend getting a surge protector for your home. I found out the hard way, that appliance warranty’s and store warranty’s doesn’t cover acts of god, like electrical strikes. Always check your coverage and deductible for your home insurance too.

  Micah did a great job, very professional and experienced took the time to explain everything. Another fantastic experience with Michael and Sons! Also had tw fans three dimmers electrical inspection and some other work done today buy Anthony Johnson. He is a five star rock star as well like Micah professional and knowledgeable and did awesome, these gentlemen are so professional and they keep the site clean and take care of all the trash. Michael and sons definitely has some awesome experience and dedicated Tech Service Pros!

  I am rating this company 2 stars ONLY because of the customer service I received over the phone when scheduling the visit. If I could rate the customer service and actual plumbing service separate, I would. The plumber arrived on time, which is a plus as well. They stated they'd arrive between 830 and 1000 AM and the plumber was there around 845 AM. However, we had a leak in our upstairs shower or washing machine (we didn't know at the time) and water was leaking from the ceiling on the first floor. There was significant water leaking, the plumber cut a hole in a panel in the ceiling, looked around for about 10-15 minutes and concluded that there was no leak and the pipes were "sweating". He left the home and later that day I took a shower upstairs and the leak started again. My father in law was able to cut another hole in a different part of the ceiling and exposed the leaky shower pipe as well as helped us repair the pipe. We paid a $69 fee for the visit as well as a $215 diagnostic fee just for the plumber to tell us there was no leak when there was, the plumber also took our pieces of drywall with him and when we asked for them back, he #1 said the pieces were broken and had mold on them, and #2 never returned them even when we asked for the broken pieces back. So we basically paid $286.00 for the plumber to cut a hole in our ceiling. I am not big on giving negative reviews because I believe that there's usually some silver lining in an interaction, but this was egregious in my opinion and I was deeply unsatisfied. I would not recommend using this company or any of its affiliates. Their phone operators have great customer service though, that's the only positive.
