He went out of his way to turn this Christmas around for us and save us from an absolute ish show. He was an absolute pleasure and pluming wizard. Also wanted to mention the quick response, they were able to get someone out very quickly.
- DADalia AllencherryDec 21, 20251.0I was charged $1,170 to fix a leak to my crawlspace. I thought that was too expensive. The technician said it came from the bathroom and charged $330 (included in total $1,170) to replace a plumbing piece in bathroom. I did not go into crawlspace and verify the fix. The next day my contractor found the leak still there in crawlspace. Roto sent another technician the next day and told me the leak is in the kitchen. They are now charging an extra $2,450 (after $700 credit from previous work) to fix the same leak I already paid for. I have rentals and hire these guys a lot. I have left them many good reviews in the past. This is the worst experience I ever had with a plumber. My crawlspace work got delayed by 5 days (Wednesday fix turned to the next Monday fix) because of this error and I am paying extra to fix it and to get the crawlspace dried up).

I went with Roto-Rooter on this job because a different technician from a previous job did really well and I was pleased with the work but the technician on this job (replacing drain pipe, sump pump) had issues with time management and rescheduled a couple of times. That left me in a bit of a bind. As far as the finished product, I'm concerned it won't last and may leak, and caulking around the toilet was done poorly and looks bad . Lastly, I had to spend a whole day cleaning up cast iron dust that was ground in the floor after cutting the pipe out and there was purple primer all over the floor. I don't typically post reviews but with the amount this job cost me, and the cleaning I had to do and still have to do, I felt this needed to be shared.
