- LLLiz LizSep 26, 20251.0We bought a house from Richmond american homes close by to this neighborhood about a mile away at Harpers Mill. We have an HVAC problem, our ceiling was leaking since July. There was a mold noted at some part. The duct is visibly brown and has been dripping on and off for the past two months. It is now almost end of September and we still see no one, no update, no timeline on when it will get fix. I tried to call several people, it is almost always going to voicemail. No direct people to contact to in regards to the matter that can resolve this. Very upsetting considering how expensive the house is. We have a baby and we do not even know how bad the air we are breathing right now. Until now our ceiling is open, we have basins on the living area to catch the drip. It is just something to consider when buying from this builder. Very very upsetting. I don’t know what to do at this point because no one can give me contact number to right people that will answer to help resolve this problem. I just hope that the next people that will buy from them will consider this and have an idea what is going on right now if something not good should happen to your newly built house.
