Orion was truly a blessing to me and my family. He made sure me and my children had heat before going to his next assignment. He showed up the day before unsure if he could help and he showed up today and saved my family from another night of freezing. I pray that God blesses him 10 fold because he didn’t have to do what he did. This man is knowledgeable and excellent in his craft. I have nothing but positive words for him and this company. Take it from me, this is who you want working on your home. Good honest people!

Daniel Hannah came out to our family residence on Christmas Eve to maintenance the water heater. He arrived 3 hours earlier than expected and he was very polite and thorough. He explained what the flashing light meant an he waited to make sure everything was working properly before he left. Micheal and Sons is open 24/7 and they were very sensitive to my concerns when I called at 5 am panicking about the flashing lights on the gas water heater. I'm so grateful for the generosity their company extended to our family. My mother's husband just recently passed away from complications of cancer on the 1st of December and things have have breaking down left and right so not having him in the home has been hard on our family because he would be the one to handle things like this. Come to find out the pilot light just needed to be relit and we were not charged for him coming out to our home. I give him and Michael and sons a 5 star rating and would recommend him to anyone!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!!!!

If you like to gamble, this is who to call. They will diagnose your issues, the diagnosis may or may not be right, but regardless you need to pay $90 each time.
We’ve spent roughly of 14k with this company. Our heat went out last Friday, scheduled a visit to have them come and tell us what was wrong. The tech told us he was 99% sure it was the thermostat and instructed us on how to install the new one. He said it was unnecessary to use them to install the new thermostat because it would cost $300, so we took his instructions and did what he said.
Apparently the 1% odds that he was wrong ended up being the case. New thermostat still having the same issue as the old one. Obviously not the thermostat that’s causing the problem. When we called they told us that since we installed the thermostat it was going to cost another $90 to have them come out for another 10 minutes to take a guess at what may or may not be the issue.
I get if they had prefaced the situation as it may or may not be an issue, but telling us you’re 99% sure and having you do the work is unnecessary was bad business. Easy to rectify, just come out and find out what the issue actually is. We’re good paying customers. I’m not paying another $90 at a chance of them identifying the problem and I recommend you don’t either.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have had Michael and Son’s out numerous times over the years. They are expensive for the quality of work and the most recent issue we’ve had is our last straw.
We bought an entirely new unity from them in 2023. Woke up the week before Christmas to no heat and unit completely off and not sending enough power to our thermostat. They sent a technician out who said we need a new thermostat. They wanted to charge us $299 to replace it (which is a 5-10 minute process). We opted to replace the thermostat ourselves. That did NOT fix the problem. The new thermostat was having the same problem as the original thermostat (turning on when plugged into a charger/ outlet, but dying from not receiving power from the unit).
I called Michael and Son’s back and they were going to charge me ANOTHER diagnostic fee to have someone come back out to diagnose THE SAME ORIGINAL PROBLEM we were having since their solution didn’t rectify the problem.
They said it was because we changed the thermostat and not them. Regardless of who changed the thermostat, the issue needing to be solved is the same. It’s not a thermostat issue if the same issue is happening to two completely different thermostats. This company cared more about $89 than good customer service for someone who has dropped nearly $14,000 with them. Insanely unprofessional.

My Boyfriend had scheduled an appointment Friday December 19th. The time frame was Scheduled from 3 pm- 6 pm for Saturday. However he did not receive any phone calls or messages regarding what time Michael and Son will be arriving or nor updates on arrival time. The time had passed by and my Boyfriend had to call them to question where is the technician who is supposed to be coming out it was now 6:20 pm. The Company had to call the dispatcher to follow up, and told us we should have received a phone call a hour ago, but we did not have any communication from the technician until we had to call the Company back. The technician called immediately after being reached by Michael and Son. The technician stated just finishing up on my last appointment and should be heading out to you in 20 minutes if you still want me to come out. I was very dissatisfied about lack of communication and responses. My Boyfriend’s appointment was never honored in the expected time frame from 3pm-6 pm. I was very disappointed, dissatisfied of no updates, message’s or calls from the expected scheduled time frame.
