  The plumber, service technician, was professional and presented himself well. But the more I think of this the angrier I get. So I’ll just report the facts of what happened here and future potential customers can do with it as they may. The technician from GetLit came out because I was having a partial blockage in a pipe exterior of my home. It Had happened about three years ago. That’s why I was confident in the diagnosis. The sewer line going to the city is cast iron, problems are bound to happen. He wanted to check a few things and make his own diagnosis, which I get. He started by flushing some toilets, running water in sinks etc. He then went under my house and came out with an estimate of 5000 dollars to repipe everything . I have pvc plumbing under the house, which was done previous to me owning the house, but he wasn’t impressed by the job. He did find a small leak. I asked him to quote the fixing of the leak, but I wasn’t interested in completely redoing the pipe under my house I wanted to focus on the blockage exterior just to get me running. Then I could start saving some money over a period of time and revisit it. He then showed me an estimate of just shy of 20000 dollars to repipe under the house and sewer main exterior the house. He hadn’t looked the exterior pipe yet. I said let’s just focus on getting me up and running and I can revisit all that later Again, he was very professional and charismatic. So, I wasn’t thinking much more into this at this point in time. He opens the clean out, and verified there was a clog exterior of the home… Said he’d get some estimates drawn up for that. He came with 635 dollars to unclog the exterior pipe, and 1700 dollars for the leak. I said let’s just get the clog done. I Can’t tell you how long he was working on it, but he couldn’t unclog it. Ran a camera 5 feet in. Told me my line had collapsed, and I needed to dig up the pipe and get a new one in. That estimate was 20800 dollars. I did find it weird, that earlier the estimate was 20k to do all the plumbing, and now it was 21k just to do exterior. I paid the 635 dollars for the failed attempt as I said I would. Another plumber came out from a different company . He cleared the line and ran a camera to verify my pipe was intact and flowing into city main. He was in and out in 30 minutes…. Do with this information as you wish.

  Louis P from Get Lit was an outstanding technician. Very polite and professional. We had a new panel and lights installed and love everything. Highly recommended for anyone wanting electrical work done. The quality of work was amazing and we will definitely use them for future projects.

  I hired GET LIT based on good reviews and I have to say, the service lived up to expectation! Donte was an amazing person to work with. He identified the issue and fixed my electrical problem while being friendly and answering questions. Donte went above and beyond and even identified other malfunctions I did not know about. I will recommend this company and it was a pleasure doing business with GET LIT electrical and plumbing services.

  This was my sencond experience with Get Lit, and it was just as great as the first one. Jake, the technician, was very professional and curteous. His explanations were clear and he provided different service options. The job was completed in a timely manner. (Note: This job actually involved plumbing, not electrical work; however, I was unable to cancel this review to put it in the corrrect place. My bad. )
