  Brett and Justin are great. Gave me an estimate and a detailed scope of work for our fireplace. Arrived on time, provided photos of work performed (since I don’t climb ladders anymore) were very polite and professional. I highly recommend them.

  In December, a few weeks before Christmas, we had a very concerning experience during our annual fireplace cleaning. The technician, Case I believe was his name, arrived and performed the cleaning as usual. At the time he began working, the damper was open, which is normal during fireplace season. He cleaned the firebox and left the home without mentioning any changes or providing any written notice. Later that evening, when we started a fire, the room quickly filled with smoke. We extinguished the fire using a fire blanket, opened windows and doors, and ran ceiling and box fans to ventilate the house. We then discovered the damper had been closed. We had not been informed verbally or in writing that the damper had been shut, nor was it documented on the inspection report. My husband contacted Matt that same evening to report the situation. By the following morning, it was clear professional smoke mitigation was necessary due to the damage. We called again to explain the extent of the damage. Matt declined to accept responsibility, although he stated he had spoken with his technicians to remind them not to do this in the future. As a result of this incident, we incurred several thousand dollars in restoration costs and lost the use of our family room during the Christmas season. We are disappointed and angry that the company did not acknowledge any responsibility or offer assistance in resolving the matter. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company, they have zero integrity or real appreciation for their customers. He was kind enough to tear up our check. Undoubtedly we expect a reply from them to this review excusing themselves of any wrong doing, also know as passing the buck. This company needs systems and someone to actually follow up with them being followed through on.

  Casey was a great tech! Made the appointment with Chimney USA as a second opinion after another company took less than 5 minutes to deem my fireplace “unsafe” and recommended over $8000 in replacement services. Casey did a thorough inspection, cleaned my fireplace and chimney and made reasonable recommendations- pointing out things that weren’t even mentioned by the other company. Now my fireplace is clean and SAFE- and for a fraction of the cost. He was knowledgeable- neat- and respectful. And my cats even liked him!! I knew I’d let my regular maintenance go a little longer than recommended- but a few repairs is expected.. trying to get me to fully replace my entire chimney- feels like a scam. One company lost a long time client- Chimney USA gained a new one. Thanks!!!

  I want to thank Mr. Ethan and your company for coming out to save me money and get my fireplace working and it’s adorable educating me on how to work it and also put my carbon monoxide alert up. Also the pictures that he took of the outside of the chimney area on top where is rusted and cracked I sent it to the HOA into my knowledge they do handle that so I put it into maintenance. I’m just waiting to hear from them with the weather to wait that it Is. It’s gonna probably be a while. I’m gonna call your company cause I meant to ask am I able to utilize the fireplace since there’s some cracks and rust up deal or should I wait until HOA comes and takes care of it again I am so appreciative. Um, saving me the money that the other company tried to rip me off for and being able to use my fireplace. I love it and I’m gonna keep your company on speed dial, we’ll have it inspected regularly to make sure it stays up to par and stay ahead of any other problems or issues that may arise.
