5 years and 3 months ago I had to use Boggs to replace my a/c unit due to them being the company for my home warranty. While they were here they where extremely rude and completely unprofessional. 3 days ago my unit stopped working, I had another company come out to look at it since my previous experience with Boggs was so horrendous. Apparently Boggs did a bunch of sketchy installments along with the unit they installed not even be the correct type of unit I need causing my power bill to sky rocket and my new unit to work over time. My 5 year warranty was up 3 months ago and I have to replace the unit yet again along with repairing everything that having an improper unit damaged. So if you want to pay more every month on your electric bill, replace your unit every 5 years, and be berated for asking simple questions Boggs is the company for you.

excellent service wonderful staff could not recommend more highly!
We advise scheduling HVAC maintenance biannually. A cooling system check-up is recommended in spring, while a heating system inspection is best performed in fall. Regular servicing enhances system efficiency, prevents minor issues from escalating into major repairs, and maintains the validity of manufacturer warranties.
How can I lower my energy bills without sacrificing comfort?
To reduce energy costs while maintaining comfort, consider these proven strategies: replace air filters every one to three months, improve duct sealing and insulation, utilize a programmable or smart thermostat, and schedule regular system maintenance. For older systems, we can conduct an energy assessment to determine if upgrading to a high-efficiency model would provide optimal cost savings.
When should I repair vs. replace my HVAC system?
The decision between repair and replacement depends on several factors including the system's age, repair history, efficiency, and safety. Systems over 10-15 years old, those using outdated refrigerants, or requiring frequent costly repairs may be more economical to replace. We provide comparative estimates for both options, allowing you to evaluate costs and potential savings.
What size HVAC system do I need?
Determining the appropriate HVAC system size involves more than just considering square footage. Our comprehensive assessment takes into account your home's insulation, window quality, occupancy levels, and overall layout. Proper sizing is crucial to prevent issues such as temperature inconsistencies, frequent on-off cycling, and premature system wear.
My system is noisy-should I be worried?
Unusual noises such as grinding, banging, or whistling from your HVAC system may indicate various issues including loose components, motor problems, airflow restrictions, or failing parts. It's advisable not to disregard these sounds, as most noise-related problems can be resolved if addressed promptly. Our technicians will identify the source and provide a clear resolution plan.
