  I want to share my full experience with Floors and Designs because it differed greatly from the glowing reviews I initially read online. In December 2024, my husband and I began looking for a company to update our flooring. After researching, we chose Floors and Designs in Burke based on their reviews. Our initial interactions were positive — professional, responsive, and courteous. The owner, Saman Eskandari, provided our walkthrough and estimate, and the quote seemed fair compared to others we received. During this visit, I specifically mentioned our large furniture, and he assured me his team would handle it. In August, we visited the showroom and worked with Matt, who was professional and helpful. He confirmed with Sam that a military discount would be applied at the time of our final payment. We placed our deposit, scheduled the installation, and moved forward. The installation team was excellent. They were professional, efficient, and the flooring looks fantastic. I have nothing but praise for their workmanship. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. A miscommunication about the stairs led to them not being covered during the project, leaving the carpet stained. When my husband raised the issue, Sam dismissed our concerns, repeatedly emphasizing that he had not charged us for moving furniture or baseboards, and therefore would not provide compensation. When it came time for final payment, the military discount we were promised was not applied. Matt acknowledged that he had indeed offered it, but said Sam refused to honor it. When I attempted to follow up directly, Sam called me and the conversation quickly turned unprofessional. He repeatedly interrupted, raised his voice, and focused only on what he claimed were “discounts” he had already given rather than addressing my concerns. He contradicted what was promised, denied conversations had taken place, and showed little interest in resolving the issue. In short: Pros: The installation team did excellent work, and our floors look beautiful. Cons: The owner was dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to resolve concerns in good faith. A promised military discount was not honored, and the handling of customer concerns fell far short of the “100% satisfaction” guarantee promoted on their website. Because of the outstanding work of the crew, I am leaving two stars. However, due to the owner’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to proceed with caution.

  We wanted to extend our hardwoods from the kitchen into the family room so we needed an exact match. We had several flooring companies out to give us a quote. Sam was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. He brought samples to match the floors, gave us a quote on the spot, and was extremely flexible with our install as we had to move the date a couple of times due to other projects. I highly recommend Floors & Designs to others.
