It required a quick turnaround which he was able to get scheduled on Monday! I also felt the quote received from Gilman was very reasonable. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. The work was completed within the appropriate time frame, and everything was done cleanly and efficiently. They clearly explained the process, answered all our questions, and made sure the system was working perfectly before leaving. I highly recommend Gilman for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service. Outstanding workmanship and customer care!

GaineyDec 31, 20253.0The young tech that I dealt with at Gilman didn't correctly install the analog thermostat that I bought at Lowe's, so I insisted a more knowledgeable tech come back to do the correct installation. The young tech who couldn't do the job said it was because I had bought the wrong thermostat, which ended up not being true, but I paid $20 more for another thermostat unnecessarily. The more-expensive one was the one that the second tech installed correctly. The office told the first tech to quote me $190 for installation, then the second tech charged me $191. So Gilman eventually did the installation correctly but there were a lot of problems. From the time I first called them to the time of successful installation, it took two weeks and three visits by two techs to get a working thermostat. Thankfully, Gilman loaned me their thermostat so that my oil furnace could be operated and give me heat in my house. P.S. I gave Gilman 3 out of 5 stars but Google is showing that I gave 5 out of 5.
