The technician, Josh, quickly found the leak and resolved the issue completely. He made sure I understood and asked multiple times if I had any questions. Some time later I got a call from the office making sure I had no further issues. The previous plumber I used has never called to check in when I’ve spent thousands of dollars. I really appreciate Gilman calling after such a small job & the work Josh did and will be using them in the future!

When the technician arrived, he mentioned a dispatch fee briefly at the start, but once I told him I’d need a quote to share with my warranty company, he didn’t confirm any charges and went ahead to check the issue. After a quick look, I was told there would be a charge just for inspecting the problem, without even fixing anything. This feels misleading and completely lacks transparency. There should have been clear communication about any fees upfront. Very frustrating experience.

James Trueheart arrived during the promised arrival time. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and did a great job getting the problem solved in a very timely manner. I am very pleased with Gilman and especially with James.

He arrived on time and took the time to thoroughly understand the issues I was experiencing. He conducted a careful assessment and provided clear, professional advice. Once we agreed on a plan, he worked efficiently and accurately, resolving the problem. Throughout the process, he was professional, courteous, and left everything clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I would welcome him back into my home should any further plumbing issues arise.

Tech tweaked the thermostat and check air handling unit. Didn't check vents or condenser. Told me it was a faulty control panel. I was suspicious because a defective control panel should either work or not work. Trane was closed but came back next morning with a 1000 quote. They didn't fix anything. Cost $265 for service call and diagnostics. My unit works fine without any repairs performed. It just needed time to reset. They are polite but I don't trust this firm.
