We were l impressed with TerraStream. They keep us in the loop with every step in the process. The installers were professionals and completed our installation in one day as promised. They take care of everything in the process from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone!

TerraStream just broke a binding contract with me for installation of a solar system (it was signd in Oct25). I have all the discussions and commitments (from Terrastream) in writing and additionally, when we signed the contract as part of that email they listed all their promises yet again as the basis for our executing the contract. They initially said the project would be done by year yend 2025, but they dragged their feet. So 2026 rolled around and the project was still outstanding. When I tried to call Jawuan and Jake (the owner) about it in January and 1st half of February 2026, they ghosted me - wouldn't answer phone calls, texts or emails for 6 weeks. Then 10 days ago I finally got a call from Jawuan to say he had been overloaded with personal & business "stuff" but wanted to reasure me that everything was moving forward smoothly, all approvals had been received, and the project should be started by the end of February. But not even one week later, Jawuan called and said Terrastream had decided to break the binding contract as funding from Redblock, an investor, had decreased so despite it being illegal to break the contract - Terrastream did not care. I told Jawuan, I would get an attorney involved...and 5 minutes later Jake, the head of Terrastream, called me and said he apologized for ignoring me for nearly 7 weeks but he , too,has "stuff" going on. In any case, he also stated that their investor funding had decreased and so they decided to break our contract despite it being a legally binding one. Jake said he really did not want to get an attorney involved (as that's expensive), But, he thought that when you signed a contract - if finances later changed - that it's legal to break a binding contract. Huh? Obviously he never studied business law in college. Jake further said that Jawuan was a contractor and so TerraStream was not responsible for mis-information that Jawuan provided (as to time line for the project and the fact that just the week before Jawuan said the project would be done by end of February as everything was in place/approved). Surprisingly, Jake did not know about "apparent authority" which is where a contractor makes commitments/representations on behalf of the company and acts like an employee of the company (never informing the clients that he was not an employee) and those representations are therefore binding on the companynsible. He also tried to blame the entire situation on Jawuan saying that Jawuan limited information as to how solar projects worked; and since he was a contractor - you couldn't expect reliable information from his. Huh? When you outsource/hire a contractor (especially one who repsents themselves as an employee), the buck stops with the company as it is their responsibliity to train their contractors. Jake was hemming and hawing when I brought up these 2 points. Obviously this company is NOT professional and NOT ethical. Avoid them.
