- GLGreg Lovato2 days ago1.0I called walker plumbing to get help with a water heater that wouldn’t light. The water heater was less that 2 years old. The technician told me it would cost me 1200 to diagnose the issue and fix it. I respectfully declined his offer. They then of course charged me the 60 service fee and left. I had another company come out and within two minutes check some of the connections on thermal coupler, and had it running within five minutes and didn’t charge me anything. This is the example of how these plumbing companies try to price gouge people just to fix a very common issue. I would encourage people to look past these large plumbing companies and find somebody more local with less overhead.id never call walker’ Plumbing again for any plumbing needs.
