- DDDmaxJun 3, 20241.0Bought a $90,000 12,000 pound extreme extended boom Fork Lift From RJ in the Springville location. Was told that they needed an extra week to make sure that all the fluids were changed. They said it was perfectly maintained before they shipped it out and a month later after we got the piece of equipment, Multiple leaks were found the starter had fallen out of it now we have a transmission blown. Of course I called United rentals they sent a tech out. They thought it was the joystick, replaced it and when the tech was out there, and the joystick didn’t work, he called me and said hey I’ve gotten underneath. I pulled the plug on the transmission. That oil has never been changed, and I said you guys perfectly maintain the machine or at least that’s what I was told when it was shipped out, and he says that Oil had never been changed in that transmission. There’s your problem. So I talked to the Springville location basically said I don’t know what to tell you about use piece of equipment Good luck.. I would never ever buy a piece of equipment from these people ever it’s absolutely ridiculous that they sell you a piece of equipment. Say yeah we’re gonna get it maintained. We’re gonna take care of you. We got you. We want your return business and then literally when it comes down to an issue or problem, they turn their nose up and tell you to head down the road.
