  Our family has been growing to where there just wasn't enough room for us all to sit together for a meal. So, we decided it was time to expand our kitchen, which necessitated a need to add on to the upper level and to support it all, a basement storage room. We are so happy that we chose Shane Anderson Construction. In my line of business, I worked with his father who was in residential construction. That is how we found SAC Remodeling. We love our new addition! Shane and his crew were very professional. From our first meeting and throughout the construction process, he listened as we expressed our needs, gave feedback, recommendations, and was very open and easy to communicate with. He was upfront with how much time the process would take and stayed true to that time frame with very few exceptions. Shane, Carla, and his crew (made up mostly of his sons) are very professional. Shane let us know who was coming each day, what to expect, and what project was to be worked on. After each day, pictures of the work completed that day were uploaded to Builder Trend for us to review. Builder Trend was easy to navigate and gave us quick and secure access along with the ability to communicate back and forth directly with Shane. We feel Shane dealt with us fairly on the cost of our project. He took the time at the beginning of our design to make sure we understood what would be needed. Shane did not scrimp or cut corners but made sure things were done correctly and in accordance with current building code. We needed to add a steel beam on the main level to support our upper room. We feel safe in our home knowing that it was built structurally sound. We are grateful Shane is a licensed and very experienced remodeling general contractor. The quality of work is outstanding. We felt respected by Shane and his sons as they worked in our home each day. They are clean, respectful and very trustworthy. It was actually quite fun to have them in our home. They became our friends. We actually missed them when the add-on was completed. They respected our belongings and tried to provide a comfortable space for us to live in throughout the construction process. They took steps to keep the dust and debris to a minimum. Shane and his sons are hardworking, dedicated, dependable, and easy to communicate with. They did amazing work. We are so pleased with our new addition. The finish work is beautiful. We highly recommend SAC Construction and we feel confident and pleased in our decision. Update 4/1/2024: It has been nearly a year since our add-on was completed. Earlier I contacted Shane to come look at a rain gutter that wasn't draining correctly and while he was there I mentioned that I wanted the Hot and Cold water leads in the kitchen to be switched so that the handle would be straight up for hot water. I felt that was safer for our grandkids. On Friday his son came and fixed the rain gutter and switched the water leads. Late Saturday night we found a small puddle of water under the sink. I noticed the cold water connection had a slow drip. I shut the cold water off and texted Shane. Sunday morning (Easter no less) I got a reply from Shane saying he would be over that morning after church. He showed up right on time in a white shirt and tie with tools to fix the leak. After he finished I thanked him and told him how impressed I was that he responded so quickly. When I asked, "Who does this?" he replied "We do". That says it all. Our experience has been outstanding. Thanks Shane.

  We hired SAC Remodeling for a fairly big remodel of our basement. We told them what we wanted, and they turned it into a definite plan.The office did a great job of communicating with us throughout the project. The workers were considerate as they worked, cleaned up after themselves, and did a high quality job. They started and finished the project in good time.

  SAC Remodeling did an amazing job on our full remodel they helped us from beginning to end. They listened and helped us get exactly what we wanted out of our new home. I highly recommend them for any remodel job!

  Our experience with SAC was very disappointing. On the positive note, the bidding process was easy and there were no surprise charges afterwards. The guys in their main crew were very professional, accommodating and for the most part seemed to do quality work, which we appreciated. Beyond that our experience was extremely frustrating. The sub-contractors that worked on our project were sub-par and no quality check of their work was performed by SAC, so we ended up having to repeatedly point out all the issues that needed to be fixed. There were significant delays throughout the project. It took five times longer than the contract stated. No apologies were offered for the delays or for the problems we experienced, nor was any concern expressed in regards to the prolonged exposure of construction materials to rain and snow. They were very insistent on getting the final payment before all the outstanding issues were fixed. They did not even have the basic courtesy to confirm if everything was completed to our satisfaction before they asked for the final payment. Communications were decent at the beginning of the project and then it got progressively worse and it took multiple follow ups to get responses. They do have a warranty, but issues take months to resolve. Based on our experience, we would not recommend SAC to anyone.

  I've had a chance to work with SAC professionally. The that thing stands out about their home remodeling work is how thorough and organized they are. That is a rare quality in contractors doing kitchen and basement jobs for sure. I have personally heard dozens of people rave about their work.
