- MRMatthew RhodesFeb 26, 20221.0We were pitched into coming out and putting down earnest money on a lot. The sales agent called us the night before and gave us the final price. We came the very next morning, the first people into the sales office (went in before opening hours). When we entered, we were told that the price of our home had just gone up 15k. We decided we would go ahead and do it anyways. The process since then has been slower than watching grass grow. It has been 11 months since we signed on and they are just barely finishing framework and still waiting on windows. We have been told month after month of the shortages of different items such as lumber, cement, windows, etc. They never communicate anything with us always leaving us in the dark and giving us the run around on timelines and lying to our faces. We see our neighbors getting everything and even moving into their homes. We have only ever felt cheated by these guys but because we put down earnest money, we are not able to back out. We would recommend to NEVER build with this company if you want to ever invest into a home. You will be cheated extra money, lied to, and never know what is actually happening with your home and you won’t be in until months after their initial closing date. Steer clear!
