Very disappointing! They came out for a free estimate and was 30 minutes late. During that estimate, I pointed out that the spring was off one side of the garage. They never mentioned that it would cost extra or had to be fixed before install. I was quoted $692, so I rearranged my day around the scheduled install. The day of install they called and added $105, saying they assumed that I’d have the spring fixed. That was never discussed or agreed. Even then, the extra $105 isn’t listed as a spring repair. It’s listed as a service call with up to one hour of labor. I canceled. Between the lateness, poor communication, and last-minute charge, this was an extremely frustrating waste of my time. I’ll be going with another company.

Capital City did multiple things for me. They repaired a damaged door, replaced an existing operator, and installed a new operator on a large shop door. They scheduled a site visit promptly, provided a proposal on the spot, scheduled the work promptly, and did a great job on the installation. The price was reasonable and I will definitely be using them again for any garage door needs that I have.

Torsion spring broke and called Capitol City the next day and they were out and fixed it with six hours. Cost was very reasonable and the technician was great to deal with. I recommend them for all of your garage needs.

Capital City Garage Doors gets my highest possible recommendation for their expertise and comprehensive work. I have tried other garage door service/repair companies in the Cheyenne area and none come close to Capital City Garage Doors. Their front office always seems to find time to work me in. Their technicians show up on time and equipped to do the job and effect repair of the problems I described. They have replaced a broken spring for me, even having someone from the team bring out additional parts as the issue was more than I described - and I live 30 minutes outside of town! This past repair (on the other door) was quickly addressed by Maurice, and while doing the work, he cleared up a door light issue I had forgotten about and had to re-wrap cables (not in my problem description either). Capital City Garage Doors in my go-to company to address any of my garage door needs!!
