They where open with how it was going to go and the 2 day project only ended up being 1. Very smooth from start to finish.

They entertained my 6 year old son who wanted to watch and interact with them the entire time and that was special to me and my son. The contractor even gave a carpenters pencil to my son. Most people wouldn't care to take the time of day to do so and these guys were fantastic, I cannot say enough about them. The door works flawlessly, and looks great, as well. The door quality also seems to be well made overall. With that said, it has only been installed and used for a few days before we went out of town. My frustrations are the following, one with the price. It is a basic door but costs a fortune (I understand that I bought it so that is the choice I made), so be aware of this when purchasing from Window World. The other thing I would say is from start to finish, we waited 7 months!! That is outrageous. They came out and measured I think 3 times, which was ridiculous and while ensuring it would fit, they tried to charge me extra for a "custom sized door" following the 2nd or 3rd measurement, which I told them to keep the door when they did that - they ended up taking the sale at the "normal" cost. In summary, be prepared to wait a considerable amount of time for your product, to pay way too much, and hopefully you're lucky enough to have a great contractor who shows up to install, like we were.

Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
