  The technician's diagnostic of my ac's issue was quick and he showed me a picture of the problem. The issue was pricing. When I asked for the invoice I noticed the technician charging $303 for a capacitor that's a $30 part. I also noticed other over priced parts listed. I understand paying labor which should be listed as a charge but grossly over charging on parts on invoices is just dishonest. When I informed the technician I needed an invoice to turn into my home warranty, he removed a random "maintenance" charge he puts on invoices to insure they would accept the invoice. Very very shady pricing in my opinion. It shouldn't cost over $1000 to fix a capacitor & one wire. I paid the $105 diagnostic fee but will find a more honest technician to do the actual work.

  I was having problems with my air conditioner for which maintenance was due soon so I contacted Grogg’s and Clyde Scranage promptly showed up the next morning. Clyde had serviced my furnace this past Winter and I was more than pleased. Clyde is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He explained everything and gave me my options and let me make a decision without being pushy. At this point I chose to have some coolant added and my air conditioner is working great during this heat wave. I know I have other options if this was not the best choice that I could have made. Grogg’s is fortunate to have Clyde as an employee.

  We have had so many problems with our mini split systems and have spent thousands in repairs. I pay for the seasonal maintenance every year for them to check the heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. This last time the technician did both of them in February and said everything was fine. Not fine. Turned on our unit that supplies 4 bedrooms and it was not putting out cold air. Technician came yesterday and said the Freon leaked out because a fitting was loose. Within 4 months???? and the unit has barely ran since February???? And he was done in about 15 minutes. Oddly enough the technician from February no longer works for the company. $734 this cost us. Plus I just paid for the maintenance plan which is $288. You would think with as much trouble that we’ve had we could get a discount. Also, these things grow mold and have to be “professionally cleaned”. Also a large cost. We were mislead about these units from the very beginning. I do not recommend if at all possible. Epson is a great technician and would have him work for us anytime!! But, he is so good he’s hard to get scheduled with.

  My 88 yr mothers AC quit working, and she needs that desperately. One company called back 2 days later. Another company misdiagnosed the problem and wanted a lot of money to fix, if possible. Groggs/Jordon Diagnosed the problem and had it fixed and not too long. He also found a part that was about ready to break. Jordan explained everything and was courteous and professional. I would recommend groggs and Jordan to anyone If you want your AC/heat fixed correctly.

Alec came out today on an extremely hot day and immediately impressed us with his positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help. While he had the difficult task of delivering the news that our system would require major service, he took the time to thoroughly explain every issue, answer our questions, and present our options without any pressure.
