  HOA rules change without notice — and good luck getting answers I purchased in Kings Crossing specifically because of the lot size, paying a premium for the extra space and the privacy it was supposed to afford. What I didn’t know is that DRB’s HOA management reserves the right to quietly amend bylaws after you’ve already closed on your home. No vote, no notice, no explanation. A fencing restriction was added to Section 11.19 in July 2025 limiting fences to within 10 feet of the side of the home. Homeowners were not informed. I only discovered this when I tried to address a legitimate privacy and liability concern on my property line. When I raised the issue, I got silence and deflection rather than any meaningful engagement. The enforcement is selective, the communication is nonexistent, and the process for seeking exceptions feels deliberately designed to wear you down. For what you pay in HOA fees, and what you pay for the homes here, you deserve transparency and management that actually responds to homeowners. Do your homework before buying here. Ask specifically about any recent bylaw amendments, and get everything in writing before you close.

  Terrible no street signs construction vehicles everywhere trucks blocking streets for hours not to mention the state of the roads themselves
