  We had an outlet go bad for our dryer, made a call for service and got a next day appointment. Our electrician Katie was on time, very friendly and got us back up and running. I would definitely call Roman again for further service.

  I called to request a quote to have an outdoor spigot replaced and to install a check valve on sump pump line which I already purchased . I was informed that for the technician to come out and quote it would be a fee of $99. 95 which does not go towards the repair if I decided to move forward with it. I thought the price was steep but after reading the reviews I decided to move forward with the appointment. The technician was friendly and looked everything over ensuring me it wouldn’t be a problem. I even asked him to look at the sanitary sink to see what it would cost to replace the faucet. He entered the information on his IPad and I was shocked at the prices. The outdoor spigot came out to over $750, $1100 to change out the faucet, and he said if I did both he would throw in the check valve installation for free, when I asked if I just went with the installation of the check valve, he said it would be roughly $350. I reminded him that I already purchased the check valve and it would only need to be installed. He then told me it would be $280. I declined the service and paid he the $99.95. I know prices are up, but in my opinion they are overpriced.

  This is my third time using Roman. I keep coming back because they are quick to respond, easy to book with and consistently do quality work, whether it’s electrical or plumbing. I’ll likely use them again for my upcoming a/c installation project.

  Ricky called ahead to let us know he was running ahead of schedule. Ricky was polite professional and fast. All services performed where exactly how I wanted it. Ricky seemed to really care that he does a good job. If I was Roman Electric, I would make sure to keep Ricky happy. I know there are a lot of companies that would be thrilled to employ him. Price was on the high end of reasonable. But you do get what you pay for with Roman Electric. Professional standards.

  My 2fl tenant didn’t have water. Was quoted $99.95 just to have them come out and offer an estimate of repairs (thought that was fair and reasonable). Two techs were sent out, turns out there was no power at the property which caused the water heater to shut off. Charged me a total of $408. They charged me an L-2 plumbing diagnosis of $292.77 just to tell me that there was no power. No work was done. No tools were taken out. No switches were moved. Literally just looked at it and told me what I already knew. Feel like the charge is excessive. I get that you pay your techs $100 an hour (bc that’s what your guy said he made) but this is unethical. Called the office and they basically said, this is our charge, nothing we can do. I wish this would have been disclosed before I set the appointment. Very misleading. A real tech would have said, “hey Mr. Customer… your power is off, you already knew this, therefore all you owe today is the trip charge as there was no work performed in your water heater. Please sign here.” I’ll be reporting this to the BBB and WIsconsin State attorney. Not to mention the fact that I’m also being taxed. Never going to do business with this company again. Very deceptive.
