  About 18 months ago, Best Electric (now part of ABC Plumbing, Sewer, Heating, Cooling & Electric) installed a Briggs & Stratton standby generator at my home. The generator is now in a fault/default state, and Briggs has diagnosed the root cause as an issue with the natural gas plumbing feeding the unit — the same installation ABC's team performed. When I asked ABC to arrange the repair, I was told they are not licensed to do plumbing work in Wisconsin and could not help, despite having installed the system that requires it. I even offered to have them contract out the plumbing fix, but they still declined to take responsibility for coordinating a resolution. I expect a company that installs a generator system to stand behind the full installation, including any gas plumbing tied to it, or at minimum help arrange a fix. Being told after the fact that they can't service what they installed is not acceptable. I can't recommend them based on this experience.

  They requested $700 upfront for a switch repair. Made an appointment 3 days in advance. No one showed up on the day of the appointment or contacted me. Have requested a refund, and hope it comes through.
