  We had them come out for a full HVAC inspection and learned that our A/C unit needed to be replaced. The service technician was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the estimator was also great to work with. However, the estimate we received was much higher than we expected, especially for the specific system that was presented. We ended up getting another estimate from a different company that offered a significantly better price for a higher-quality system. All of the employees we worked with were professional and pleasant. My only concern was that when I mentioned we were seeking another estimate because of the price, I was immediately asked whether, if they could match what we were expecting for pricing, we would schedule the installation with them. That left me feeling like the original quote wasn't their best price. I prefer companies that are upfront with their pricing from the start, so that experience didn't sit well with me.

  A great company from start to finish. I called about a leaky shower and Tom, the on call plumber diagnosed my issue and had the service call me the next day to schedule the repair, they messaged me they were on their way. Not only did he repair my shower leak but I also had Steve the plumber raise the outside faucet higher for me so that I could access it without having to bend over. I broke my back a few years ago and have had a very difficult time watering the backyard plants. A previous plumber told me it couldn’t be done but now here was Steve who did it anyway. In no time at all. I’m so grateful.

  I have had techs out multiple times this year because my heat pump AC compressor would not kick on at peak times in my building. Both times neither tech could tell me why it was just shutting off. They left each time telling me the system was in perfect shape and there was no reason it would shut off or not turn on. Advised not to replace but had no answers for me. Glad I wasted $1,000 on random stuff they wanted to try and still nothing worked. The worst part is just hearing they had no answer and now I am sitting in a condo with 80 degree internal temp. They keep pitching more things to try but the last tech at least said it was all worthless to try and not worth it. Glad Cardinal is willing to keep charging me but still won’t give any answers.

  Alex was called because we wanted a second opinion on the issue with our AC system. A technician from All Comfort Services visited us yesterday giving very little detail on why our AC was having issues and also ignoring the issues that had previously had. The results of which are literally written on the unit itself. Alex not only appreciated those notes but also used as equipment to actually diagnose the issue. The compressor was turning on and shutting off. That is all the other technician told us. Alex actually dug into the system was having an issue. The resolution was the same however I greatly appreciate Alex’s thoroughness to ensure the system wasn’t going to fail again soon after he left

  Very Expensive Service – Used My Own Breaker and Poor Overall Experience! I recently hired Cardinal for some electrical work in my home and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The technician used my own QO 20-Amp Single-Pole Combination AFCI breaker instead of supplying one as part of the job. Additionally, he connected an upstairs outlet and a downstairs outlet to the same AFCI circuit, which I believe poses a safety concern. If I ever need to work on the upstairs outlets, I might mistakenly think all the circuits are off, while one outlet could still be energized from the downstairs circuit. The price was much higher than I expected. I was quoted $600 just to move a light switch about two feet, and when I inquired about diagnosing my bathroom exhaust fan, I was told it would cost an additional $300 just to inspect it before any repairs. Ultimately, I paid $1,147 for what felt like a relatively small amount of work. Between the high prices, using my own breaker, and my concerns about the wiring, I was left very disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cardinal.
