  Great experience from the start to finish. The techs explained things in a way we could understand. The salesman was knowledgeable and gave great insight. They were never pushy. We had a very old AC unit they gave us options beyond buying new. Even letting us know we could ride with it until it died .

  My electrician was fabulous. Very thorough, did exactly as requested and did it skillfully. The low score is for the unbelievable price. Over $2,000 to change five outlets and swap out four outside lights. Everything else was exceptional, the dispatcher reached out every 90 minutes with updates, the professionalism of the electrician was exceptional.

  Taylor patiently and thoroughly explained what I needed to replace my hot water heater and issues he saw with the PVC pipe for the outside venting which wouldn't meet code any longer when it comes time to sell the house. After reviewing equipment options and my signing of the service order, he and fellow plumber Tom, who stopped by to see if Taylor needed any assistance, got to work and replaced all that was needed. They both were friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you!

  Had our first service call with Cardinal and we will definitely be using them again. We contacted them to investigate an electrical issue in our 1960s home. The tech, Owen, was friendly, courteous, and helpful in explaining what was going on and answering all of our questions. Offered us a few different solutions at different price points and was able to repair the issue same day. Because we both work, having the option for a Sunday service call was also a HUGE benefit. Overall, exceptionally pleased with our experience!

  Too much time to scope project, a comfort advisor who did not truly listen, overpriced estimate, then accidentally invoiced for a "HVAC Diagnostic Charge". A sadly frustrating experience. In efforts to replace our 25 year old AC unit, we reached out to about 6 different AC installation companies in the area. Initial scoping and discovery took nearly an hour longer than the average of all other companies. Upon being provided the quotes, our advisor stated "I know you will only be in the house for 2 years, however I think you should consider X", a quote nearly $10k above other estimates we had received and not appropriate for our needs. Sadly a gap in listening and appropriately right-sizing the work. To conclude the free estimate efforts, we were accidentally invoiced for the diagnostic charge. After a call this was resolved and I noted poor experience being relayed to the company. A follow-up was noted that would be occurring though nothing so far. For such stellar marketing materials, clear and wonderful quotes, and a brand name in the Madison area it was a shame to have a sour experience.
