Theilmann Heating, Cooling & Plumbing installed a new HVAC system in our Wisconsin lakefront condo. From my initial call for a quote through the proposal, installation, and completion, every member of their team was kind, caring, professional, and responsive.
They designed and installed the ideal system for our property, a project that also required a crane for the rooftop installation. They handled all the permits and coordinated every aspect of the installation. The entire process was well organized, and the work was completed with great attention to detail.

Kevin worked diligently to solve my ac issues. He talked with me about what he was seeing and the steps to get my ac functioning again. Also I should mention, the person who scheduled made sure that I could get an appointment the same day. This company has won me over as a customer with their great customer service and techs!! Todd was very good. He explained everything in a straightforward way. Made sense, left us with no questions or confusion. Things were made plain, from the equipment to the maintenance, to the things we specifically wanted and didn’t want. Todd was knowledgeable and prepared, cordial and professional. We have worked with contractors and companies that send salespeople who have slick presentations which are designed to prevent us from asking questions or saying, “no”. Not Thielmann! Todd spoke with us without being condescending. We thoroughly appreciated him and look forward to working with him and with Thielmann again.

I would rate lower than one. Minus 10 sounds appropriate. Never had a company treat us as poorly as Thielmann. In past 10 years, have spent around 30k in two different houses for hvac systems. Most recent house, they put in a Daikin hvac system with 12 year part and labor warrant. After 4 years, the a/c went down. Thielmann diagnosed a bad outside compressor. I assumed that they would switch out the entire outside unit, since a warranty was in place. Heath, the service manager insisted this could not be done. Instead, only the broken compressor would be addressed. There is an addendum to this compressor which I will outline later. Reluctantly, a compressor was ordered. In a week (no overnight shipping allowed here), the compressor arrived and a tech came to the house with part for install. After 4 hours, the tech claimed the new compressor was bad from the factory. Another was ordered and another week went by. Again, no overnight shipping allowed. That next week, the second brand new compressor was installed. And again, after 4 hours, we were told that IT was also bad from the factory. Two brand new compressors are bad and Thielmann is not taking any responsibility. This was completely unsatisfactory to us since the temps were warming well into the 80's. Thielmann was again going to order another compressor. However the week earlier, Heath had stated that it would come from a farther location. I was advised to contact the Daikin Customer Service by another hvac dealer. A case number was generated and we were also advised to bring in another hvac company. That second company came on the same day that Thielmann unsatifactorily tried to install the new compressor, with two techs. This is where it gets really interesting. That second company, after getting my model and serial number of our a/c, reports that Daikin will cover the entire outside a/c unit for the first 6 years. Our unit was only 4 years. Some customer service on the part of Thielmann. Did they neglect to check or were they just ambivalent to the warranty.That entire new Outside system will be installed the upcoming week. Free of charge. Thanks again Thielmann. What a worthless company! To top all of this out, we also found out that when Thielmann registered our furnace when it was installed, they listed itto an entire different family/city. As I stated from beginning, this episode was so poorly handled from the start. What a bundled job. Good bye to an entirely worthless company!
