- ETEric TrybekJul 16, 20265.0Adam Ca from Action Heating, Plumbing, etc came out to fix a tub faucet that would not stop running. Someone had come out previously and made the leak better, but told me that parts were no longer manufactured to replace what was needed. I could live with a dribble. Then things went bad. My wife and I were out of town--different cities--and my mother-in-law decided to be helpful and clean my bathroom. When she turned the cold water off, it decided it didn't want to run any slower than about 1/3 full flow. So, I had her turn off the water main. We turned it on only to shower and flush after we got back. On his first visit, Adam found the parts and ordered them. When they arrived I got a second appointment and installation much more quickly than I had a anticipated. His work saved me I don't even know how many hundreds of dollars over replacing my entire setup. Also, on his first visit he noticed that my basement utility sink was full and leaking. I asked if he would find and fix the problem even though it wasn't part of the reason for the service call. He was happy to do so. If he hadn't let me know (or wasn't willing or able to take care of it), my basement would have been a disaster. I don't think I'll ever call a different plumber. Not only are they reliable and honest, but they are proactive.
