  Was just in the store on Lakeview drive, I wanted to setup an appointment for someone to come to my home and give me a quote to install Quartz countertops in my kitchen and three bathrooms setup for under mounted sinks, and full quartz back splash in my kitchen. I also wanted to discuss options for my primary shower, possibly quartz sides and ceiling if that is possible. As you can tell my career is not in the counter top or carpentry field, that is why I want to hire the work to be done by professionals in that field. The lady told me to bring in measurements and then they would give a quote of that, then when they come out for the final measurement they will require 1/2 of the cost paid. That is not a problem, I would pay that. The kicker is they want to base the estimate off my measurements, I again don't work in that field and who knows I will do the proper measurements correctly, angles and such. Very disappointed in the customer service I received this afternoon. Todd Gauthier

  Contacted them to do a job for us on one of our remodels. Initially, they told my employee that he needed to do the measurements and take pictures and send them to them. They never even discussed coming out and doing their own measurements and giving me a price Very unprofessional company to work with When I tried to follow up with them, I had the opportunity to sit on, hold several times and never actually talk to anyone except the operator Would not recommend, especially if your contractor trying to get a job done

  A week before our installation was to occur, I had reached out for an update on our project. I was told at that point, that there was an error in quoting and that our kitchen island "was missed" in our initial quote, even thou we specifically talked about it with the girl at the store, the measurer and it was on the drawings. Our price nearly DOUBLED because the island was missed in their quoting process and they were not willing to work with us on pricing, nor was there any effort to keep our business. We were simply told "sorry, we are not willing to budge on the price." Not only is it frustrating that their amount of customer service was minimal, but our project timeline is now pushed out another 4-6 weeks by essentially having to start over on this portion of our project. Would not recommend.

  This is the second time I have used Countertops Specialist for home projects. Highly recommend! Friendly from ordering countertops to installing.
