  On the tail end of a whole home interior remodel and had Carpetland Germantown do LVP across our 2nd floor. This was easily the worst experience I had considering all of the contractors involved over the last 18 months. It would be a 1 star review had they not at least came out almost a month later to somewhat improve initial rough work at the end of the process. Made it clear to the measurer and then the installer before work began that the area around the base of the stair railings needed to be right up to the edge as that would not be an area where we would be putting any trim. These are narrow hallway areas with expansion room on 3 other sides so no concerns of lack of expansion gap there. Also received the job order to sign off on and matching trim pieces were included which I requested not be ordered, but was told they were already ordered and could not be cancelled BEFORE I returned the signed order to proceed. Was told that I would be charged if any additional prep work was needed and turned out the subfloor was in great shape except for one area where it was a little high requiring the installer to splice in about a 10’ x 2’ piece of subfloor to level out. At the end of the install I was told this was 9 man hours of work and would be over $1,100 additional. I couldn’t even imagine how that added up. Job could have been done in 2-3 days but 2 installers were here 4 days as they were only here 3.5-5 hours a day. Sent an email to Eric Langan who recently took over the company almost a week ago and no response. Really disappointed overall, but paid the full bill and learned a lesson I guess.

  Had multiple rooms and a stairway done. Dennis was excellent to work with. Scheduling measurements and getting a quote was easy. There was no pressure to choose Carpetland if we didn't like the price. Installation went smoothly, took less than a day, and the carpet looks perfect. Price might be higher than the big box stores, but there's no substitute for true professionals and real peace of mind.

  I will rarely take the time to do a review, but this one is well deserved. We had about 4,000 sq feet of carpet installed for multiple rooms and multiple stairs. We worked directly with Dennis in Germantown and he was amazing to work with. We went with a more unique wool carpet for our living room and bedroom and there was an error with the actual carpet- no fault of carpetland but the manufacturer. Even though this is probably outside of Dennis’s role and job, he wanted to ensure we were satisfied start to finish and saw it through to be fixed and replaced. His customer service is above and beyond and such a rare quality to find these days in any business. We are so happy with the finished product of all our new carpet and so grateful we went with Carpetland in Germantown. The customer service from Dennis is 10/10.

  We had a good experience with Dennis at Carpetland for LVP and carpet for our basement. It was a big job but Dennis helped us out along the way with his recommendations. The install went great and we are very happy with the LVP and carpet we chose.
